Overall it’s a good hotel. It’s quiet with good restaurant. The self parking lot seems rundown and feels unsafe (even though we got in and out fine). The elevator at self parking wasn’t even working and the lot was dirty. It’s not the hotel’s fault, but the area seems so quiet and there was almost no one on the street. We saw quite a few homeless people.

Reno itself is a nasty place but the whitney peak hotel was nice and clean and very easy check in and out. Parking at the hotel is a joke however they want to charge for offsite parking when theres plenty of free parking at the other hotel/casinos.

I like that it is a pet friendly property and there is a great dog park nearby. I do not like that the parking is a bit of tricky. But the staffs are very helpful so it is not a problem.
