We love staying at silver legacy. The parking area and elevator area for parking structure is looking dirty and run down may need to do some new painting etc.

We did not feel welcome at check in. They appear to want everyone to use the self checkin kiosks. We are not comfortable scanning our driving license and credit cards 1 foot from anther guest. The experience will asure we will not be back

Silver Legacy

We only stayed one night. The young man that checked us in was very friendly and helpful. We liked the fact you had to scan your room key to use elevator. Lived the Mountain View room. Room was clean. We did notice. Bathroom/shower area were really small and no fan. The bed itself was very soft like sleeping on a marshmallow. The pillows were awful. You only got 2 and they were lumpy and flat. Should offer at least 1 firm pillow. Funny when we were checking out we were gonna fill out the card that came with the room keys. The room had no pen or scrap paper. So we had to check out using the TV. Oh , we called to make a reservation at Gordon Ramsey restaurant. The information they wanted was ridiculous. Plus we had had to give a credit card because if we didnt attend dinner after reserving we would be charged. The food was wonderful by the way. Staff was great. Whats up with the tiny gift shops? Plus why are they closed so early. People are up late and would shop. Should open at 8 am. They need more variety as well. I probably wouldnt stay there again.

It's a nice hotel. We stayed for 3 nights. Good dining options from the other hotels like Circus Circus (The ROW), but not a lot of dining options in Silver Legacy itself. It's sketchy at night outside, so it's not best to walk at midnight. Rooms are clean, good amenities, and it's right in the center of Downtown Reno. I do recommend this hotel as it's clean and large, though.

Shower problem

The shower was not working. When we called them about it they told us it would take 20 min for mechanical team to arrive. They ended up being 3 hours, but they still did not come. We called again (5th time) and they told us that we should change rooms. It’s ridiculous that we had to go through this for a simple shower request at 10pm!
