It was fine but watch for the extra charge

Room was clean, it was fine. No frills, if just need a clean spot to sleep that’s accessible to downtown, it’s fine. They hit us with a charge of $170 on top of the amount spent through hotels.com. If I had known about that I would have spent my money on a different hotel.

I love J Resort

I had a great stay at the J Resort. My only complaint is I had to take a lukewarm shower one night. Other than that, everything was excellent! The surrounding area was walkable and scenic. I loved the Reno Riverwalk!

This hotel is in the perfect location. It’s minutes away from everything, there is not too much foot traffic, it’s quite and easy to find parking. I would definitely stay here again.

Check in was good, we did get ckecked in earlier than the normal time, which was fantastic since we were heading to the Aces ballpark for the game. The room was ok, not completely what I expected from the pictures on the website. The room was a non-smoking room but smelt like smoke, pretty strong. The balcony was ok, there was a pile of cigarette butts on the patio….hence the smoke smell in the room. We had 2 queen beds one did not have a blanket. Not one phone charging port worked. I do give your security team kudos for doing their best to keep out any unwanted guests in the casino. The homeless are relentless! Parking is a little less than desirable, had to park across the street and a little nervous to Leave our vehicle, but it was fine. I am sorry, but this hotel will be booked again only in a pinch….if we are unable to get a room at the peppermill.
