Fantastic hotel!
The hotel seems newer although there was construction all around it. The front desk staff were awesome and my room was fantastic! I will mention that I was given an adjoining room with people I didn’t know and I could hear their television loud and clear when I was trying to sleep. Thankfully they went to bed shortly after I did. The walls are a bit thin also and even though I was on the 12th floor I could hear the street noise very well. The room itself was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I would definitely stay again and it’s walking distance to everything including the river walk.

The location is great. Easy to get to and parking is good. Facility is very nice and clean. The mattresses are a little on the soft side, not what you usually get in a hotel property. One wait staff member both nights was on the rude side. Overall good experience and will go back.

We needed a place to stay for a week while helping out a family member. Had never stayed in a room at a casino before. Got a package deal through Expedia for the J Resort which also including our flight. Was not sure what to expect but it turned out to be a great choice. Every interaction we had with employees was overwhelming positive. Highly recommended!

Very cumbersome to check in. No external signs on building indicating where to enter for hotel registration. I found it by trial & error after walking through parking areas and casinos. Very low water pressure in shower.

Dint get the room we booked. Was toled when booked thrue your site the room i reseved isnt garenteed. Also to get to the hot tub. You have to walk thrue the loby then thrue the parking lot then cross over the driveway. And there is no changing room at the pool area

This was our first time visiting the J Resort and from the minute we entered the beautiful newly remodeled casino to the time that we checked out 3 days later we could not think of one negative comment. The staff is amazing. We have been to many many casinos and the staff at the J Resort is without doubt the most helpful, kind and friendly staff that we have ever and we mean ever met. The buffet was excellent. The one suggestion that we would make on the buffet is NOT to overcook the chicken wings and chicken entrees. Janet and Miguel (servers) were top notch and they are assets to the J family. Kudos to them. The cashiers were also awesome. We hope that a CASINO HOST WILL CALL OR TEXT US AND make us an OFFER ON OUR NEXT VISIT. We are thinking about Christmas time for our second visit. The one complaint that we have - and these are ALWAYS pet peeves: why in the world does the housekeeping staff NOT check the bottles in the showers? Our shampoo was completely out and it was obvious that it had been that way for awhile! IMO, it shouldn't matter that "I just filled that yesterday", what should matter is that there are probably some patrons who simply refill their own personal bottles using the bottles in the shower!!! Also...the drain for the sink was VERY slow to drain, indicating a blockage of sorts. As a manager, I would give each housekeeper an erasable pad on which she would be able to check off these items that need maintenance, and turn those in at the end of their shift - or make the supervisor aware of an issue for immediate attention.
