We went with our 2 kids and there were joined rooms. Both rooms had a fridge. One room had a mini kitchen area. The rooms were clean and ammenities were high end. Only thing to note is the casino on the first floor and everything that comes with it. For security the rooms have to be accessed through the elevator and only a room key activates the elevators.

Pros: As a lone female, I felt extremely safe. The parking lot was well lit with music playing. I felt like someone was watching with the cameras. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable and quiet. The parking was free. It's conveniently located and only 10 minutes from the airport. Cons: The pillows were huge and uncomfortable for my size. There was no info in the room about anything at the hotel or vicinity. I had to look up everything online. The shower door had been installed incorrectly (fixed door by the faucet) so the only way I could turn the faucet on and to adjust the water was to get in the tub! I still don't understand the resort fee--there was a pool somewhere, but I didn't use it. The workout facility has bad reviews. Parking is included yet it's free for everyone coming to the casino. They shouldn't be allowed to charge a resort fee as it was not a resort even though the name is J Resort.

I stayed here for 5 days and I had interactions with a lot of the staff and every one of them was excellent with the exception of one. She was a maintenance worker. I asked her a question and her response to me was very rude and unprofessional, and my response to her was "well that was f*@$ing rude" and she ran off to her manager and they kicked me off the floor for the night. Other than that, everyone else was incredibly nice, including the executive of the casino Alex, she made me feel very welcome. I will definitely stay here again when I go back to Reno
