Check in is 3pm, rooms were still being cleaned, but others had no problem getting a room, was told it was based on availability. We could have a pet room, I said no. We waited 35 minutes and a new agent finally helped us and gave us a upgrade. The upgraded room was less than par so I am curious what a standard room would look like. I wouldn't stay again, noise all night from freeway

The price was reasonable. They did offer some breakfast...pastries, coffee, tea,etc. You pay what you pay for. The place can use some updating. Casino smells heavy on smoke..if you're not a smoker dont even go inside.

Tired

Hotel was tired and in need of refurbishment - a bit like their employees! Various fittings throughout the room had screws backed out. Water temp for the shower was either freezing cold or scalding hot. Very disappointing!

I recommend this hotel if you need to be near the Reno Airport for sure! I had a very brief stay - checked in at 7 PM & left for my 5:10 AM flight with much ease. The receptionist was very sweet, gave the best tips, and answered all my questions. I appreciated that they had an express check out key drop box so that leaving to catch my flight was a breeze. I also liked the brand amenieties they offered and appreciated that sounds were not easily carried throughout the rooms or hallways. It gives off the impression that quality was kept in mind when the building was first constructed.

The surrounding area is bad and attracts loittering oppurtunists, but the staff was amazing. Attached casino gets rowdy but fun nonetheless. Ramada does a good job with security and patrols on the property.

This hotel is supposed to be non-smoking, so even though there is a casino attached, I did not expect the 7th floor hallway to smell like smoke. The lobby smell was terrible. They also asked for so much more info than normal at check-in, but the staff was very kind. The beds were comfortable enough and the rooms did not smell like smoke. But everything is quite old. The price was good though. The area was not the best, but they had good security measures.
