Paid extra to check in early and shortly after checking in, there was an explosion close by and The room only had half power so the bathroom light worked, but the TV didn’t work and the AC didn’t work from around 2 PM until 2 AM the next day when I asked about discount or the hotel extending something because of the power issue, I was told that only people that were staying over another night were being offered a discount

Only one leg of power on at arrival. After the show at midnight there was no power so we just drove home. Non smoking smelled like smoke. Homeless loitering parking lot. Not very clean.

It's a Motel 6. When a cheap night's stay is paramount, and you have limited time at the motel anyway, they serve their purpose. If you need to get a decent night's sleep and are sensitive to noise, request a room that is not facing the freeway. There were some characters sitting in chairs outside of their room facing the freeway (an ugly view and, again, noisy) when I got there, so it felt a bit sketch. Again, though, it's a Motel 6 - not the Four Seasons. Had it not been for the freeway noise, I would have gotten a good night's sleep. The lack of shampoo is really unfortunate. While I recognize that costs need to be cut to justify the price, a component of a decent stay is a decent shower and how does one shower without shampoo? The employee who checked me in was wonderful - she was probably the best thing about this location.
