Excellent stay. Clean, very reasonably priced for a room with kitchenette. Comfortable beds. Access to marina, mall, restaurants, movie theater. The staff went above and beyond to contact us when we left not only a phone but a laptop!

I had a reservation for 3 nights but it was split into two different bookings for some reasons. I was there for my daughters volleyball tournament at Reno Sparks Convention Center and this place is very drivaeble. This is the best ever extended stay I have stayed in, it is brand new and very well kept facility. But the workers here are rude and very rude, the front desk lady checked out my room without our request and housekeeping threw it away and trashed all our belongings. When we came back the key fob did not work and we went to the front desk and learned that they checked us out. I asked for our things and they said they threw it away. Manager Jared came for the rescue and he tried finding our things and could not find it. We did not have a place to go so we decided to stay there for the rest of two days and just manage to pull it through since we must finish the tournament. Stay away from this place it is not worth it.

The hotel room was amazing. There was a microwave, stovetop, and refrigerator all clean and up kept. The breakfast wasnt as great BUT considering you have a stovetop you should be able to cook yourself a good meal. The beds were comfortable only problem with them was the fact you could move them easily. All together a great stay.

No real entrance, or lobby. Staff seemed less than thrilled to be there. Ran my card and handed me a keycard that was it. Room is very nice though! Surrounding area seems less than desirable so we probably won’t stay here again

New Hotel - Minor Service & Amenities Gaps

The hotel is located near the Sparks Marina, which is close to many great places to eat. The parking is a bit of a challenge, but space was available. There is no drive-up out front for check-in. You have to find a parking spot first. Check-in is quick and easy. For the type of hotel it is, it was a new experience because Extended Stay America is different from other hotels in that they don’t go in and clean your room on a daily basis or when needed, only after you’ve checked out. But if you do need something for your room, it is provided anytime. The rooms themselves are exceptionally quiet. I did find it annoying that every time I would come back into the room after I know I turned the TV off, I would find it on each time. The WiFi works exceptionally well. The beds were a bit of a letdown as they were not soft and are a bit on the thinner side. This hotel was built a little over a year ago, so everything is quite new. There is no complete morning breakfast service, which was a letdown. However, there is always fresh coffee and a small selection of cold food items available. There is also no pool. The gym is small but clean, and also well maintained, but could benefit from an addition of free-weights (dumbbells). It could also use a water dispenser or a filtered water faucet to fill your water bottle. Overall a great choice to stay. Will return.
