we got there Monday and all restaurants and bars were closed, they told us all opens on weekends so only 2 restaurants were open during 4 days so kind of boring. Also the 1st room was given to us was kind of a old looking, you guys need to remodel your rooms is about time. The employees gave us excellent service, same as on the phone and our requests to front desk and housekeeping were fullfiled quick and nice, for years exactly 20 we had been staying at El Dorado hotel we love it, but this time we found all this, please consider in updating your room,. Thank you to your employees excellent service!

The 2 queen “luxury” room was in the sierra tower. Not my preferred choice. If you actually want a luxury room, you need to pick a premium room. I was very confused by that. Seems to me luxury would be the best. But our luxury room was accommodating. View was just okay. A bit obstructed by another building. There was always a faint smell of smoke in the hallways on the 10th floor that seeped into the rooms. The elevators are older and small. The room itself was updated although the bathroom was on the smaller side. Had a Keurig coffee machine. The beds were a bit bouncy. It served its purpose but I will be sure to book the premium room next time as we come to Reno quite a bit and I love staying here or silver legacy. And…the offer daily maid service. Seems so many hotels are getting away from daily service. That’s a huge plus!

Air Conditioner was broken. Room was extremely hot, made it difficult to sleep. Also. around 345am - 445am maids were vacuuming the hallways and banging into the baseboards with the vacuum cleaner. It was very loud.

I had the hardest time with getting an issue resolved. Also the rooms air conditioner did not work. The face handle was broken. Beds were terrible, only two pillows on bed. Just terrible for the price paid. Will never stay there again. Very disappointed.
