Poor quality for a large expense
I thought the room I was given initially was absolutely terrible a very stale smell and the entrance wall was damp. The second room was dreadful but I was tired having travelled 10 hours to attend my sisters funeral. It was not worth the £100 charged. I will never stay there again

This hotel needs some work: parts of the shower were falling apart, there were stains on the walls, and half of the lights in our room didn’t work. Overall, would not stay here again.

Felt it was not worth price paid, took this hotel as a change as in the area every 8 weeks. I will be sticking to my usual Premier in future. Very Very noisy on the Sat night screaming, shouting both in corridor and outside well into the early hours. Nothing I really liked.

The hotel was Ok, every thing seemed like “make it look nice and charge top dollar” which is exactly what it is. We paid for a top tier room and I’m not so sure what we actually got extra for it. The door didn’t lock from the inside. The bigger bed that we paid for was just 2 beds pushed together and I can’t really remember the last time I have stopped in a hotel room where there wasn’t a desk (maybe that’s just me but I like to have a desk to answer a few emails). The TV was rather dated and couldn’t run certain features on it. Maybe I’m being slightly to critical hear at the end of the day the room was clean tidy, the staff were supper friendly and the hotel is situated in a useful location. I just don’t feel it warrants the price there charging.

If you have a large bag, good luck humping it up 2 flights of stairs. The front desk sent us up a staircases that was up and then down more stairs. There was an easier way to get to our room, but the front desk failed to let us know. I would have never booked a room here if I knew i had to humf a 23kg bag up and down stairs. Very basic accommodation

I stayed from Thursday - Monday (4 nights) and although 3 of the nights were ok, the whole trip was a disappointment due to the Saturday. I booked & paid for a hot stone massage for 1 hour, this was the worst hot stone massage experience I have had. The room was freezing cold & the hot stones were not ‘hot’ to begin with (I’d say it was only the last 4 stones used that were hot) - not worth the £80 spent. The treatment room was ok but the area that it is in needs some cosmetic work doing. The Saturday night, after returning to the hotel around 10pm after a day out I was looking forward to the rest but that was not the case. I understand hotels have events but what I don’t expect to be then unable to sleep or even relax for the night. What I then experienced was 3 hours of torture. The room I was in felt like I might as well have been in the function room - the music was so loud that the whole room was noisy, the floor, bed and anything on the sides was vibrating & rattling from the music. I called to reception to find out how long the music would go on to, to be told 11.30/12. They asked me about moving rooms to which I said yes but then unable to as no other rooms available. That was like rubbing salt in the wound offering you something they couldn’t do! It felt like after I called the music got louder, and the worst part was it never finished until 12.50am. A trip that should have been enjoyable was a waste of money.

Very convenient for Glasgow Airport. Excellent full cooked breakfast buffet choices with plenty of space in the restaurant. Interesting building with lots of facilities and quirky areas. Nice pool.

Don’t stay here if you have trouble getting your luggage up 4 flights of stairs with no lift access, especially after you specifically asked if you could please have a room with no stairs( I had previously stayed here and there wasn’t too many stairs to the room but was tough with the luggage) No concern for customers at all. Would not recommend.
