We liked feeling safe and being treated as people not a number to meet a quota Breakfast, 5pm wine & cheese, and 8pm cookies were a nice touch. I felt bad for those that came around 830 as cookies were gone...some were taking 3 and 4 at a time... Pool looked inviting... Having an elevator...fantastic !!

Dusty rooms

There was what looked like decades-long dust build up behind all furniture and frames. They need to move the furniture once in a while and get those dust bunnies out. We suffered terrible dust allergies.

I am honestly very surprised, pleasantly so, with my stay at The Beach View hotel. We check out in the morning, but I will definitely return. The front desk staff was so friendly upon our arrival and throughout our short two-night stay. Check-in was a breeze. They serve a nice free breakfast each morning. The breakfast biscuit sandwiches were great as was the frittata. There is a nightly wine and cheese service in the early evening, and warm cookies in the later evening hours. Both are served in the cute lobby. The rooms are charming, overall well maintained, and smell fresh and clean. The bed was firm but comfortable. The best part is the proximity to everything! The boardwalk and beach is mere steps away. There are fantastic dining options as close as directly across the parking lot. There is honestly no need to even move your car unless you plan to venture further from city center. This hotel is a gem. I was nervous booking because some "billing issues" are mentioned in other reviews. But those seem to stem from folks not reading the welcome letter that does indeed mention an additional $20.00 per person per night for any guest over two adults. This didn't apply to me, but it does show this information multiple times on the website and the booking confirmation. There is free onsite parking. I personally didn't have an issue finding a spot, but we are here off-season before the crowd surge. Things MIGHT be more complicated then.

All right for the price.

Generally all right for the price, but some of the bath towels had stuff on it. And since they made the bed, I assume they were in to do room service while we were gone, but they didn’t empty out all of the trash cans, or clean the room that properly. Good location in terms of beach access. Appreciated the wine and cracker service between 5-6, and the chocolate chip cookies at 8 pm. Otherwise, it was a good service. The staff was generally friendly and helpful and the hotel amenities worked.

Beach View Hotel was absolutely perfect!! We booked this trip last minute and we’re so glad we did! Everyone at the Beach View were so nice and friendly. Perfect location, really is 150 feet from the boardwalk!! This was our first trip to Rehoboth Beach & The Beach View but it Won’t be our last!! Can’t wait to go back!!!!

We had a great weekend get away. They do need to keep a bug service treating the property on a regular basis. We had a cockroach in our room 1 night!! Floor in room needs a good cleaning, our feet were black walking in the room.

This was my second stay here, and the location is fantastic. Rooms are clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is also a plus! My only complaint is the noise in the morning of all the food delivery trucks and garbage trucks….definitely rules out sleeping in. But, it allowed me to catch some beautiful sunrises, so I guess that’s the positive.
