Loved the pool, waterslide,kiddie pool and hottub. Especially nice to have rooms pool side. The hotel is in a good location with quick access to downtown and North Albert Street Restaurents - Houston Pizza was a great meal during our stay. The room was dark and the carpet was old and gave us a feeling of DIRTY and gross. The carpet in the hallway gave an impression that this hotel was disgusting/old/unclean... unfortunate as the building itself is nice and this could be a very nice hotel (probably was years ago). The service and cleaning staff did a great job too.

The staff in the restaurant are always very good and kind. It was very noisy; kids running up and down the halls yelling, i could hear the neighbors swearing and yelling next door (and their dog and baby, but i don't blame that). The lobby was full of young people being loud also. I was looking forward to a little rest after checking in, but it wasn't possible. I noticed the front desk staff did nothing to stop anything either. There is a pool at this hotel, so it's understandable that a lot of families come on the weekends with their children to swim, but i think the hotel should've done a little more to do the chaos for the weary travelers.

We enjoyed the pool, the balcony. This hotel needs an upgrade on their carpet. Had patches and the front of the hotel was dirty. Loved the premium coffee in the lobby and in the hotel room.

The entrance, stairwell and elevator were dirty. Our bed was good but the carpet in the room was very old and stained. We had hair in our sink and bathtub when we arrived. The toilet ran and the stopper in the sink got stuck in the closed position. Our room wasn’t cleaned on day 2 so we ran out of body wash but thankfully I brought my own shampoo. The pictures on line do not reflect what this property is really like. The breakfast in the restaurant was very good and our server was excellent. Wish we would have gotten her name.

This is an aging property and there is lots of old, somewhat run down stuff. It’s also a pretty low income neighborhood with lots of homeless people, and the surroundings are not very nice.

The hotel room-room 306 had blood all over the wall and floor as well as a square taken out of the carpet where there was something else. There were pills in the hotel hallway on the floor. Do not stay here. It was myself my son and another mom and her son. Both our minors were in the room with blood, we did not notice until we were packing up and had to move the table and chairs. When we notified front staff they could care less, we were offered 100$ off our stay. Now we have to go home and get tested to make sure we did not catch anything I'm mortified.

The new renovated room was clean and confortable. The hotel is under renovation, but it didn't bother us. The walls are not soundproof. We had trouble sleeping and were woken up by noises all 4 nights we were there. Staff took appropriate action to resolve the issues. Pool was quiet during the weekdays, but loud and full of kids during weekends.

I booked this hotel for one night because I was looking for a clean bed and a warm shower while being on the move between locations. I got better than that. Even for a late check-in, I was greeted with a warm welcome. I could sleep as much as needed with no disruption. There was a coffee machine ready for me the next day. I got what I needed and slightly more. Would come back again if I'm in the area.

The property was rundown. Carpets all around around were in such poor shape that it was easy to believe that they were the original carpets. room was decent except pair of womens eye lashes on the wall in washroom and a lack of plug ins. Noticed a homeless person vigourously checking hotel side entrances then noticed him again inside checking room doors. Mentioned to staff but they seemed apathetic to the problem. will not stay here again.
