Not up to par with other Oxford Suites we have stayed at. 1. Room was dark and dreary. The two bedside lamps were very dim, and no lighting at all at the sofa. Had to use flashlight to read at the sofa in the evening. The only other lighting besides the vanity and bathroom was a small desk light. Also, vanity light was also too dim for makeup and there was no lighting at the other mirrors. 2. All pillows were way too uncomfortably thick. Never had such thick pillows in 200 hotel stays. 3. Breakfast was very mediocre. You could not serve yourself the hot food. The potato patty and sausage were cold, especially the potato with no way to warm it up. No waffle option. 3. Only one small drawer for clothing if needed for a multiple day stay. 4. Refrigerator door awkward to open. 5. Received text during stay that daily housekeeping is not performed they said to help the environment. I believe this statement is insincere and dishonest. I believe the real reason is to save costs, a reason that I would accept much more positively. 6. The one positive is that the pool area is very nice and inviting.

Pros: The parking lot was well lit. The lobby was up to date with furnishings & decor. The bedroom suite spacious. The bed & pillows comfortable. Overall, it was clean. The bathroom was up to date and well renovated. The floors clean and luxury vinyl. The toilet flushed great. Cons: There were weeds and lots of holes in the parking pavement. The shower pressure was weak. You can hear the neighbors conversation very clearly. Not enough natural light.

We booked the largest room type and that was a mistake. The room had a wall mounted AC unit and it simply couldn’t cool the whole room. As a result, the sitting area was freezing and the bedroom area was far too hot to sleep comfortably. The walls are also quite thin, and you hear too much from adjoining rooms.
