Injury on April 6, 2025 due to Colt's Neck Inn's negligence, which required 20 stitches in my leg. Absolutly no responce to many attemps to discuss their responsibility. My daughter finally talked to owner, who accused me of having a previous injury and that I didn't get any blood on the rug. That was because I used a wash cloth stuffed inside my sock to keep it from running onto the floor. What a horrible experience. Still going to wound doctor for treatment.

Lovely, charming, little hotel. Booked the suite for a friend's visit for their birthday, and it was well worth the money. Most staff were very pleasant and attentive - only had issue with one woman at the front desk who was quite rude when asked if there was milk for the (as advertised) 24/7 coffee bar. Everyone else was outstanding, will definitely stay again!

Everyone was incredibly friendly, and the historic building was peppered with modern flare that made everyone feel welcome. There is so much with in walking distance that they highlight for you in an in room guide. I’d be thrilled to stay there again should I find myself in the area.

We were in town for a family event. Check in was quick & the inn was a cute place to stay. Everyone was friendly & our room was clean. Next morning we had complimentary breakfast which had more than I was expecting in a nice room with tv & comfy area we could relax in. I loved the little lounge area when we checked in. Dog friendly place as well. Def recommend!

Nice vibes

Used Colts Neck Inn for the week post surgery before I was safe to travel. The room was comfortable. The staff efficient. The atmosphere very comfortable and charming. The continual breakfast just that but was well stocked and with enough variety. For a place that seems to celebrate their slime ball founder it has good vibes. We did not go to the steakhouse so I can not review on site food. Surrounding restaurants left a lot to be desired.

All of the staff were friendly and most helpful when occasions arose. The hotel has a long and interesting history. Its indoor environment was cozy, relaxed, and home like. Outside, there were many places to sit with others or by oneself, lots of shade too. A great restaurant adjacent to the property. I liked that the facility had a 'workout' room which I used daily. State parks are nearby for hiking, history, picnicking, or just enjoying being outdoors. So happy I found this hotel.

Hotel had the personal touch such as bottled water and flowers in room, good service, pleasant environment and a non-chain. Building was from 1717, which is pretty cool, but you would never know it going by the room which was spacious with plenty of amenities. Free continental breakfast and dogs being allowed is a plus. When in that area again (which I am at times), I'll now know the best place to stay.
