There was a live band in the Irish Pub connected to the hotel. We requested a different room on Friday night and were moved immediately to a quieter room. However, that same room on Saturday night was loud as the live band was shaking the entire building. I went to the front desk to discuss this at 11pm, but that person was unable to do anything about it. The band finally quit at midnight. I don't have any complaint about the staff. However, there should have been someone on site to cut the music to a reasonable level.

Very friendly check in, quite and clean room. Love, they had a Starbucks, a pub. And walking distance to shops downtown. Only down fall was parking. Its free street from 6p - 7am. Other then that you have to pay a meter to park.

Our room was a suite with 2 doors One of the doors was nearly impossible to close If my son wasnt along, i wouldn't have been able to get it shut. It needs shaved or something. Certainly should have been determined prior to our stay. I am not old nor am I without muscle, this is really unacceptable.

This property is filthy and run down. Hilton should be ashamed and embarrassed to have their name on the property. It’s almost like they have abandoned ship and are unwilling to invest in upgrades that are urgently needed. A brand new Hyatt Place is opening as part of the Block Five development and Alex Johnson appears to have thrown in the towel. Having owned a commercial cleaning business for 35 years, I observed a couple of the housekeeping staff in lobby common areas. They are extremely poorly trained, unsupervised, unmotivated, and ill -equipped. We WILL NEVER return to this property even though we like the downtown location and it is the only 3-4 star property in town - although it should not be above 1 star in our opinion. Even the door to our room felt insecure with a gap of light coming through. A firm shoulder against the door would easily force it open. Never Again!
