Everything about the hotel was awesome. Newer property that is easy access to get in and out of and parking is a breeze. Right off the main road to head to Mt. Rushmore and other attractions. Breakfast was good everyday. We stayed 4 nights. The pool and hot tub were big and hot. Rooms are clean. They have signs that they don’t do maid services for stay overs because of short staff but can get everything you need like towels and trash bags. The elevator was a little sketchy and shook from side to side on one occasion and when we were checking out the person we rode the elevator with said him and his daughter got stuck on it. But it must of been a quick fix cause we were there 5days/4nights and we never seen it out of order.

We brought our dog and I was very appreciative that they gave us a ground floor room with easy access to the side door which was near the grassy dog area. The staff was very pleasant during check-in but I wish Best Western didn't charge extra for dogs. This is one of those junk fees that is unfair just because we have a dog.

This was a very clean facility. It was also quiet. The bathroom has the best lighting! My only complaint is that they have plastic utensils for the breakfast buffet. It is very hard to eat waffles with a plastic fork!
