Fantastic hotel, service top notch. Breakfast buffet included very good. Only 2 negatives, too many Americans (including ourselves) and the driveway up to the hotel is very steep and if you wish to walk to town it’s a good climb (easy once at bottom of property. They should golf cart guests up and down but most will just taxi

The reason I gave the hotel 4 stars is because on more than one occasion our bath towels were stained. That should not be an issue at a 5 star hotel. The service was excellent as well as the staff. If I could do 41/2 stars I would.

We loved this hotel so much. The beach club area was perfection. I wish we could’ve stayed longer. The service in every area of the hotel was excellent and welcoming. The food at the restaurant was delicious and again the service superb. We particularly loved our waiter Daniel. Breakfast was also delicious with lots of options and great coffee. Yes we would absolutely stay here again. Thank you so much

The most amazing and charming hotel we stayed in Italy! It is called a Palace for a reason. The staff was amazing, Angello was, as his name, an angel! He helped us plan our stay and recommended restaurants! If you like to swim, use this hotel's access! Yes, there is no beach but between the infinity pools and the water access, it is an absolute pleasure! We will be back and for longer!

Lovely hotel, parking available. Staff was friendly. The room was a little dated, the toiletries looked like they had been out and not freshened up from the last guest. The terrace was not wiped down outside my room. The beach club was nice.

Note to future guests: although the name of the hotel says Portofino Coast, this is no where near Portofino. It is a 20 min car ride to Portofino, and if you go by taxi, the flat rate is €52 EACH WAY!

TERRIBLE experience!! This hotel is NOT at all a five star property!! It hasn't been redecorated, renovated or updated in any way since the early 80's. There was rarely hot water, the hallways smelled musty and old, and the food was TERRIBLE and ridiculously over priced. The front desk staff was incredibly unfriendly and had no interest in helping us in any way. We've traveled to Italy multiple times over the last 20 years and this was the worst experience I've ever had! I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone!

Best hotel in Portofino period.
This was one of the best hotels I have ever experienced. There are two pools, both kids friendly which I really liked, and an access to the sea water which was just perfectly shallow and calm. Staffs were extremely courteous and responsive. Thank you.
