Cozy colonial place, clean and comfortable. Staff personnel were outstanding, friendly and knowledgeable of the town. Location was excellent and close to the main attractions of Quebec.

The hotel was conveniently located just a few minutes' walk from key attractions like the Parliament, Citadel, and Old Quebec. The reception staff were friendly and helpful.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Due to mobility issues we had to request a different room on the main floor , this hotel does not have an elevator. The front desk person understood and was able to provide a main floor room. We loved our room and would stay here again! The location is approximately a10 to 15 minute walk to Chateau Frontenac, Dufferin Terrace with views of the St. Lawrence River.

The location was great, we were OK with no elevator. It’s only three flights of stairs, but I noticed others coming in with large luggage and they struggled. The biggest thing and the reason why I gave it three stars it was loud all three nights we were there till three in the morning couldn’t tell if it was coming from below us or across the street. On the last night, I looked out the window around one in the morning and there was a bunch of police officers just hanging out on the sidewalk. Also, I knew they did not have breakfast, but I thought maybe they would’ve had at least coffee in the lobby, which they did not the closest place was down the street which was a subway. They did have a small one in the room. I can’t say I would stay there again because of the loud music all night other than that I would stay again.

If you have travelled Europe you will be used to this type of property. Don't expect anything fancy as it is old. However, the rooms were fine and the bed was so comfortable. The location to old downtown was also a huge bonus. The room doors were a bit beaten up and could easily be forced open. The showers were great, as long as no one else in the suites were using theirs. Serious scalding if someone else turned their water on! Overall, for the price, the rooms were fine.

It is privately owned or it seems like that and well maintained. Very convenient location to any place around city with 10-15 minutes enjoyable walking. We spend all day long by visiting all famous places and have fantastic dinner every day at local restaurants that at the same street with 1-3 minutes walk. Small problem with bed and bath door that need to be greased

Kind of a hostel that needs work
Basically a private room with bath in a hostel. Common areas need cleaning and paint. Hallways noisy through door. Deadbolt on door didn’t work so only hook over bolt. Bed was good heat and a/c worked. No elevator and carry your own bags up.

Very disappointed in the facility. While our room was clean enough, the furniture, in particular the chairs needed to be replaced. The AC unit leaked-we reported it to the front desk. Nothing was done to repair it while we were There. The bathroom had cracked tiles the tub itself was clean but the grout in between the tiles was in need of a good scrubbing. One window in the room was painted shut ant the other did not have a screen. The pictures on line DO NOT accurately reflect the current conditions of the establishment. Parking is very limited I am glad we were able to have a spot to park the car while we were there. I would not recommend this place.
