Our stay was overall pleasant and we had a good time. We liked that we could enjoy the pool/ restaurant. Our room was unfortunately very noisy, as we could hear the music band loudly. We were very disappointed as we expected to have a room with a balcony as stated by our expedia selection on their site. But it turned out to be just a door leading to public staircases going to the pool. We mentioned this politely to the receptionist. We explained that we were traveling with a baby and expected to be able to sit on a balcony and enjoy the evening while our baby slept. We found out that expedia had not advertised properly the room we selected and politely asked if we could upgrade our room which was unfortunately not possible. But what almost ruined our experience was the young woman working at the front desk around 15h on 2024-08-24. Her attitude was beyond condescending with eye rolling and rudeness. We were understanding of the situation and the limited options but also disappointed. We tried to problem and the clerk showed no willingness to help, compensate or at least act with a bit of empathy for the situation. This was a special, meaningful trip for us. We were hurt by her lack of professionalism.

This hotel is geared towards older kids. We have 3 young kids 2 with Autism and it was a bit stressful stay. There is no second lock on the room door so our kids could easily escape the room. The balcony was just bars outside the door which if they opened the door they would not understand they could/should not climb on. When going to the pool area the picture signage is extremely high so very difficult to show visual reminders. The lifeguard was very understanding when explained. Besides this it was the little things like reserving a room for 5 people with 2 beds and turns out the 2nd bed is a murphy bed but were not given the combination to put the bed down. We had to wait for a staff member to arrive but also not having enough bedding or towels. Which would normally not be an issue but when having to pay an extra fee for a 5th person you would expect to at least have an extra pillow and towels enough for each person.

Other than our waiter at the restaurant, who was wonderful, I found the staff and guests to be extremely rude. I am not French, I can’t speak or understand much of it but I try, because I understand that it is the language of the place I am visiting. I attempted the little French I know and I was met with rudeness, exasperation and dismissal. In the pool, many of the guests jumped on me and my children without so much as a glance after, let alone apology. A grown man pushed my son under the water because he felt he was in his way, just horrible behaviour. If you are not fluent in French, do not stay at this hotel, I would even say don’t visit Quebec City! It’s a shame because the hotel itself is lovely and the food at the restaurant was delicious too.

This place was amazing, the staff even went above and beyond to help, always with a smile. The place was amazingly clean, but the hot tub was in need of a major cleaning, as we could see scale\scum floating on top of the water.

Nice pool, thats about it.
The pool area and amenities were beautiful. The rooms were terrible. The room had a weird smell to begin with, musty almost. One floppy pillow per person. There was a bag of garbage on the Juliette balcony that seemed to have been there for quite sometime. My sister who was staying in rm 215 had blood on her comforter, sheets and mattress protector. They offered her a new sheet, she had to demand for all new bedding 🙄 how disgusting.
