There is no staff!! The code I was sent to unlock my room didn’t open the room which was a problem because it’s an unstaffed front desk. We got lucky and ran into someone in the basement who opened our door with a master code on his way out the door. The room, however was a delight,

The property itself is in a lovely location with plenty of walkable attractions and restaurants nearby! The check in was smooth and easy with no issues entering the building. The lobby of the hotel is charming and nice to lounge in. Our room was in the upper level - very cozy and the decor was inviting. Everything worked properly including the shower and coffee machine so yay! There was one issue - there is no staff on site so for us we didn't manage to get a hold of anybody during our stay ( we used the texting option ). We informed them of blood stained sheets upon arrival and asked for a replacement . However we received no answer at all. We should have called but obviously we didnt want to spend our 2 night vacation solving issues so we figured texting would be easiest - but unfortunately no response. The stains were pretty obvious so I'm wondering why they were even left on the bed in the first place. The rest of the place was clean , bathroom was spotless !

Staff was great with check in directions and the hotel is quaint and perfectly french. Its was located in the heart of old Quebec City with a fantastic breakfast spot called L’Omelette a 2 minute walk away.

Beautiful venue, centrally located, within walking distance of all major activities with easy access to an excellent breakfast restaurant. Comfortable, quiet, peaceful hotel. I have already recommended to a friend traveling to Quebec City.
