J’ai apprécié l’endroit de façon générale mais la piscine n’était pas accessible pour des raisons de maintenance. Je n’ai pas apprécié de ne pas être avisée étant donné que c’est l’une des raisons que j’ai choisi cet endroit.

Overall good hotel. It was sufficient for what was required. In room Air conditioning was super noisy! No room service or maid if you stay less then four night. I had to look like a crazy person for more towels. And forget about asking for pillows.

Nous avons été très satisfaits de notre séjour dans cet hôtel. Le rapport qualité-prix est vraiment excellent. Bien que certaines parties de l’établissement soient un peu vieillottes, tout est propre et bien entretenu, ce qui rend l’endroit agréable. Notre chambre était très bien, et les lits particulièrement confortables, ce qui a grandement contribué à notre confort. Une belle surprise nous attendait à notre arrivée : la piscine, qui devait initialement être fermée pour maintenance, était finalement accessible. Le personnel de la réception nous a expliqué qu’ils avaient devancé les travaux pour permettre aux clients d’en profiter , une attention très appréciée ! Le seul petit bémol concerne le bruit de la climatisation, qui peut être dérangeant durant la nuit. Mais pour le prix que nous avons payé, nous n’aurions pas pu espérer mieux.

The Ambassadeur Hotel holds a special, nostalgic place in our hearts. We particularly enjoy the pool area, which is a lot of fun and where moderate drinking is allowed, adding to the relaxed atmosphere. While the staff can be less responsive and the amenities are barely at a 3-star level, it's important to remember the price point. For what you pay, it's a convenient option, quite similar to a motel in its overall offering. If you're looking for a budget-friendly stay with a fun pool vibe and a touch of nostalgia, the Ambassadeur is a decent choice.

The price is right and the pool and free parking was appreciated as well as nearby food options(Cora’s, Tim Hortons and adjoining restaurant.) Location is convenient. Staff are nice. Renovations are a mixed bag. Good choice of flooring. Quiet in room. Backward door on bathroom, loose tap on bathtub, minimal furniture and a door key that continually demagnetized itself were less impressive as well the limited electrical plugs. We were there for two days and although the room was clean to start with no cleaner came so we did without fresh towels. Only coffee was available in the room. No tea. A challenge if one is intolerant to coffee. Would stay here again

Would not recommend this hotel. I fell while taking a shower because the bathtub sticky mat was worn and no longer had grip. Advised front desk in person no response. Gave us a mat to take to our room, but was going out,requested to put in our room. Came back after spending day out , room not made up. Requested to clean, their response oh we do not do that unless you request it. Had no idea this was their policy ,no mention of this when checked in. Flush seat was falling off,did repair while out. Desk lamp did not work may have been lightbulb,but at this point did not bother requesting them to look at it. Front desk people were polite,but not over.y friendly.
