The towels were clean but stained. The room smelled like it had water damage at some point and the walls definitely need to be painted and touched up. The breakfast was very minimal and not any gluten free options.

Location was good for the one night we needed. This place needs a good updating! Bed was very comfortable and sheets were clean and fresh. Spread was old. Bathroom was clean but bath towels were as thin as paper and very small. Room has a TV, refrigerator and microwave. Drapes and curtains were very sad looking and old. Alcove with mirror and plug for doing hair or makeup had no light! Overall - the room was passable BUT the rug was old and grungy. The whole perimeter of the rug - under the AC unit and under the fridge was thick with a coating of dust. Has not seen a good cleaning in awhile. If you have allergies - don't even attempt this place! Paint choice makes the room even darker. They could make a few minor improvements here and it could be much better. Probably would never stay here again.

Very convenient to Landmark College in Putney. Breakfast at the adjacent Sweet Spot Cafe was great. Putney Inn should consider vouchers or some sort of partnership with the Cafe rather than the frankly sad breakfast “room” at the Inn by the check in desk.

The Putney Inn is located very close to I-91. It is ideal for travelers who need simple, clean accommodations. A complimentary breakfast is provided: coffee, juice, muffins, cereal, and self-service waffles. And there is a food co-op nearby that has prepared food and a good assortment of groceries and beer. I've stayed there on three separate occasions and it was always clean and quiet. It's a 2 story "motel" style building. There is no elevator, but the steps to the second level are not steep. I'm of 'a certain age' with 2 new hips and I didn't struggle with my suitcase and other bags.

This is the most basic of accommodations. The breakfast bar is a sad state of mealy apples, bagels, and cereals. Thin walls/noisy neighbors/and no drinking water offered. The room was clean but very rough and in dire need of updating; it also smelled musty. This is basically the Rosebud Motel from Schitt’s Creek but no David or Moira to entertain.

I don't normally leave reviews, but Putney Inn is well worth a review. April at the front desk went WELL over the top to make my stay amazing. She gave me a room that about had me speechless. It was amazing!! I will totally be staying here again!

Clean, quiet

This was a peaceful spot to stay. Clean, comfortable bed and pillows. Sure, it's a bit frayed and landscaping needs attention, but it was $50 less than the least expensive option in Keene, NH.
