New hotel in a nice area, plenty of restaurants for dinner. However for breakfast only the buffet is open and for lunch three restaurants are open which you did not need reservations. Bad news is that for dinner you need reservations to restaurants and no one tells you ghis at check-in which would have been great. Overall good hotel amazing staff and nice beach.

We had an amazing experience at SLS Playa Mujeres. We loved the food and drinks. It was delicious and similar to fine dining experiences back home. The quality was great! A highlight was Press and Verde, where we would get yummy lattes and fresh smoothies/juices every morning. The staff at the Press were great! The restaurants and food were amazing. Our favourite a la carte restaurant was the Mexican Caracol, but all of them had delicious food and attentive staff. Shoutout to the entire team at Caracol for such an amazing and delicious dining experience! The hotel was beautiful with so many relaxing, peaceful spots. The architecture is cool and perfect for photos. I loved the neutral colours and designs. The adults only pool and lunch spot Twiggy is where we spent most of our time. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly. Roberto, Ever, and Adonis were great!! The pool is beautiful and had shaded and shallow areas for convenience. Even the pool lounge chairs were comfy and cute. Highly recommend! Our hotel room (ocean view) was beautiful. We loved the view and balcony. The floor to ceiling window doors that open all the way were a special touch. We loved that the room came stocked with snacks and a mini bar that were restocked daily. The only thing I didn’t like was that you could see into the shower from the bedroom. I do not recommend sharing the room with anyone you wouldn’t want watching you shower. The staff at the concierge were extremely helpful.

Sls was fantastic. We enjoyed our stay as a family of four. The beach was pretty and the waves calm. Restaurants were great. However, the service was excellent and really made this place stand out.

Like many have already noted, the food is really good. Everything is clean. Service is really good throughout. We really did have a great time, but there were some flaws. Here are the few things that kept it from being perfect. 1. A very large corporate group showed up halfway through our stay and the vibe went from a charming Mexican getaway filled with normal people on vacation to the place fully transforming and catering to the corporate group, which was a drag on the last few days we were there. I would go back, but I would confirm that there isn't a large corporate group taking over the place. 2. We had 2 random late night phone calls from the front desk (after 11 pm) that woke us up and when we answered, I couldn't tell what they were trying to figure out and I was pissed that they woke me up so I ended the call. 3. The gym is adequate, but they could really use a couple fans in there to at least circulate some air since it's very hot and there's no AC running. 4. The adult only pool is very nice and pretty calm in the mornings, but in the afternoon it gets obnoxiously loud either from just playing regular music, or an actual DJ playing music. I think for most people, it's not ideal. There's a reason many of us chose this location instead of a party place in the hotel zone. The whole place is classy so the party vibe they try to create at that pool sometimes just doesn't seem to fit.

We stayed at one of the swim out rooms and it was very nice, our two-year-old loved it. However, the food needs improvement. We tried the Asian, Italian and stench house, the best food was definitely at the steakhouse. The breakfast buffet needs better options, the omelette station was our favorite. Unfortunately a lot of amenities close very early, The splash pad closes at five, the kids club has very specific hours for certain age groups. The pamphlet we were given upon arrival had different hours listed. The beach area is very beautiful and clean with lots of hammocks. I would possibly stay again, but not anytime soon. I had much higher expectations.

We had an amazing stay at SLS Playa Mujeres! The food was consistently delicious, and the service throughout the resort was top-notch. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome at all times. The à la carte restaurants were a nice touch—not bad at all! We also loved how the hotel app made it super easy to request service or make reservations. Everything was smooth and convenient. Highly recommended!

We had a great stay! The resort is exceptionally clean, and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. They offered excellent kids’ activities and a convenient drop-off service for children aged 4 and up, which was a big plus for us. The food was good overall, though it would be even better if buffet options were available for lunch and dinner. I gave the resort 4 stars instead of 5 for two main reasons: there wasn’t much in the way of evening entertainment or shows, and the front desk was consistently very busy, making it difficult to get assistance at times
