This hotel definitely needs a lot of updates a lot of staff organization waited Six hours to 2 pillows. Nobody answers the phone. Very weird smell in the morning and at night time through the property Sewage or some kind of nature , but only in the buildings not by the sea Hotel definitely needs a lot of updates better housekeeping management staff . unfortunately, I do work in a five star resort hotel Orlando, Florida certain things I see was just not acceptable to me

the resort smelled bad the animation was not what i expected had ti call a few times for my room to get cleaned.food was not good for the price should be better. other than that, the staff were very nice

The hotel overlooking looks nice the gardens the restaurants but the elevators working sometimes I travel with my mom and she needs a wheelchair and I have some inconveniences to move with her the hallways need more attention to clean

First and last time on this property. Makes me wonder is all the RIU properties are bad. I will start with the positive. The staff for the most part were friendly. Lots of things to do there. I’m not a party person, but it was fun to watch people. Spent most of my time on the beautiful beach. They have lots of lounge chairs. Have lots of activities and if you want to go to the other RIU party’s they will bus you. I only went to the white party and it was 4 hours of fun! The shows are really good and the dancers are amazing. You will get lots of steps. Takes about 12 mins from one side of the resort to the beach. The property itself is pretty. Try the Jerk Chicken, it’s amazing! Now the negative…… The key cards only work maybe 5 times before you have to go back to the front desk and get it reprogrammed. Absolutely no ventilation in the bathroom area and you might be lucky to get running water in the restroom. Upon arrival of our room we didn’t have towels in it, shampoo and hand soap were empty. Had to put in a request for that. They say they fill your room with 4 bottles (16oz) every two days. We never had it filled we had to keep going and getting water. Half the time the toilet wouldn’t work because the water didn’t work. After the white party all I wanted to do was shower. Went back to the room and we didn’t have running water in the shower, sinks, or toilet until 7am. (I have video of that but it would let me add them) You can see they paint over the mold in the room. The staff were friendly and pleasant. The hotel was smelling really bad and the food was horrible. The only time you get something good to eat was at breakfast, their jerk chicken was ok. Overall I would never stay at this hotel again.

I found two problems, sometimes in the morning There not water, not always but sometimes. The second problems are with the pool towels. If you don't take the towels early in the mornings, you will not have it. Then, the towels man, wants that your gave him tips for the towels. Beside that, everything was fine.

The room look dirty only 2 towels was per day lots of noises the ac hardly work it the food was terrible u went aut the property to eat the hotel us beautiful but poor staff 😩😩😩

Ok all-inclusive but disappointed in the room. Its not as clean as we expect even a 3 star hotel. Hair amd dirt are on the bathroom floors cobweb dust on walls and ceiling. Everywhere in the property there is a musty smell and pockets of property you can smell the sewers. Only toiletries provided are conditioner, body wash and hand soap, no wash cloths even when I asked they just gave us more bath towels which are all gray and very rough/thinning. For the price of the room, a holiday inn express room was better. I get that we have access to unlimited food and drinks but even those were not really remarkable which is ok as they do a good job serving that many people. Overall it was on ok experience but Im underwhelmed compared to when we stay at other (non-inclusive) medium cost resort hotels.

This property is not 5stars at all! This place is rundown and dingy. The doors are dirty. The showers are rusty and moldy. The bathroom mirrors are a mess! The mirrors are broken and old. The elevators of the property barely work. The staff provide regular service. This place needs a severe update and make over. The food is trash. The speciality restaurants are buffet style!

The property is absolutely beautiful! Saúl is my favorite front desk person!!! At night, Mr. Lico was very helpful. However, the air in the RIU Republica made my daughter sick from the sewage, mildew & mold in the air. We enjoyed the restaurants and many food options. The Rock Station show & the 2 nightly singers on the RIU Stage was freaking awesome! The RIU parties were so good and this worker named Nulbia was very nice there to help me out with carrying our drinks and cleaning up our spills at the RIU parties. I'm not sure if my family will come back here because my daughter got sick from breathing the sewage, moldy, mildew air. Maybe I can return with just friends. By the way, my friend Jackie & I won a game of BINGO at the Macao Casino. It was a really good time!

Entretenimiento y actividades en el hotel para los huespedes que no salen del hotel. Creo que no tienen personal suficiente para acaparar la limpieza de todo el hotel. Para la cantidad de huespedes que tienen la discoteca es muy pequeña.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were super clean. Plenty of dining options that were good and a great 24hr selection
