The staff was great, The chiefs were phenomenal. The drinks at the bar were amazing The bartender Luis in the lobby was a sweetheart … chief Carlos at villa marina and the staff there omg they surprised me with a birthday cake plus the food and music was so nice. Carlos Carter At guest Concierge Online was so helpful booking restaurants every night. I loved everything about my stay. This was my first solo trip but I never felt alone at all. Thank you so much guys this birthday was the best birthday ever because of you guys … most of all you have to get the swimup in your room…

The services provided by the staff was excellent, but the service in the room was not good, for 5 days only got the garbage ones and no towels, and we didn’t like the food provided by the hotel. I want to thanks to the staff who gave us a great service

My husband and I had a great experience here this last week. Carlos our guest specialist helped us get in the steak house. That was nice since it was hard to get in on our own. We really enjoyed the steak house best restaurant there. The resort is 45 minutes out of town so be prepared with flights and excursions. We had the swim up room building 9 across from one of the swim up bars. We loved that since we were served in our own pool to enjoy it more. Free room service was another highlight to enjoy our pool for long periods of time. The piano bar serves the best drinks. We didn’t care for getting pressured to upgrade our experience constantly while there, it did get annoying. The entertainment in the evenings was fun and different every night. We loved the coffee shop!! Bowling was included and fun, wish the games were also free. They had a market one night and one of the venders was very pushy we didn’t appreciate that and had to walk far around him to avoid him. Staff are all friendly and welcoming. Beach has security and we felt safe even with the venders selling items. Nice beach walk from the resort. Cleaning ladies work hard and came back in the evenings to ensure we had clean towels. The AC in the rooms working amazing! Overall great experience!

Everything great! Buffet food could have been kept warmer. And the pressure from salesmen at tables selling things one night was not needed or expected. Aside from that everything amazing. Carlos Carter did everything to make this stay great! Would return at a later date.

They should have more beverage options that aren't exclusive to premium customers. Additionally, there were no small spoons available with the cutlery, and we had to request them. Some waiters only focused on serving water.

This hotel has a really spacious area with a good zoning for restaurants, events, swimming pools. I love their lobby it is light, relaxing, and gorgeous.

Our butler Jose was amazing he deserves 10 stars! The priviledge pool service was a 0. Juan working there gets a negative 100 because he was terrible. Everyone complained about him and yet no one took any action. He acted like he ran the place. Even after given instructions by his own boss he denied it! What a joke. Everyday was a struggle to order food and take it to the kids pool where my kids and along with the other priviledge kids were. Because of him i give ocean el faro a 2 star. Some staff were wonderful! And some seemed like they didnt want to be there or work. The staff definitely need training and discipline. All in all the enetertainment was a 1 star. The resort is beautiful and clean and esthically pleasing. The priviledge lighthouse restaurant had better food then the other restaurants or buffet. The beach wasnt the greatest. It was very rocky once you try to make your way further into the ocean. Would not stay here again.
