The grounds were pretty, but we had a lot of maintenance issues in the room and didn’t find the quality to be an upper level room at a 5 star establishment. The shower pressure was terrible. It was really difficult to get towels and washcloths. Service was hit or miss, when it was hit it was wet good. Food was good as was room service - better than most all inclusives. Beach service was fair, the beach was pretty but could have lots of seaweed on some days. It was a big turn off that they allow vendors on the property at the beach constantly trying to sell you something- pictures, junk, etc and the ones they allowed at the center of the property were unpleasantly aggressive. Beds were comfortable but the rooftop bed we had had molded cushions on it and I had to clean out the jacuzzi myself to use it. Upon check in there were broken tiles, papers and beer cans on our roof top area. Would not go back due to the condition of the room and lack of availability of towels and basics like that. Was disappointed there was no real turn down service and maid service was bare minimum. Although our butler Arturo was good and attentive, we had others who were rude and inattentive- in fact o e night at the sea food restaurant we had to just get up and leave after an hour and a half to get food.

We stayed 6 nights. Our Butler Luis was amazing. Food was fantastic. There were activities during the day that we partook in. All of the activity staff were amazing, waiters were great! Would recommend going back! The spa was an amazing ammenity.
