This resort is older, so there is some wear. However, the rooms are large and the workers are phenomenal! I traveled with a friend and we enjoyed the overall atmosphere of the resort. The crowd was on average, older, which we really liked. Didn't have the loud party vibe. We are already talking about returning!

Bougainvillea was fantastic! Food was amazing and there’s something for everyone at the buffet. Staff and grounds fantastic. Entertainment staff was energetic and very fun. Everyday was great. Safe inside the confines of the massive resort property. Very beautiful place. Some notes- Beach water was par. Shower water was slow to heat up, but you’re in the Caribbean… Don’t use tap water to brush teeth or drink! Will definitely consider returning, we loved it.

The entertainment group is fantastic. The food choices are very good and they were cooked to perfectly. The resort is beautiful and well maintain. Things that I didn't like is I booked an oceanfront room, but we really couldn't see or hear the ocean. Also, there seemed to be a problem with the hot water. Most of the time I took a shower with just lukewarm water.

The service was absolutely outstanding. However, we stayed on the third floor. The shower water never got hot. Many times it was just cold water. We were also told on the Expedia site we would receive a bottle of spirits for our visit. That never happened???

Genuinely, this was one of the best experiences I’ve had. This property is great for if you’re looking for a slow get away. If you are wanting a more fast paced environment, this is not the place to travel to. Staff is VERY friendly! Food was great. They constantly had drinks to give. Just such a lovely place seriously.
