My family and I stayed at Lopesan from November 1 to November 8, and we were disappointed with the food quality. I had invited my family from another country, hoping for a memorable experience, but the dining experience fell short. The food was often not fresh, and the taste was poor. Even the restaurants didn’t offer exceptional quality, so both my family and I struggled to eat well. Many days, we ended up just having coffee and bread in the morning or even skipping lunch. I hope the hotel management takes steps to improve in this area.

I found the property quite spacious and had everything you really needed in a resort. However, I found the staff was not as friendly as other all inclusive resorts I have been too. There was a lingering scent also throughout the resort that was unpleasant. The check in process was chaotic, requiring me to come back to the line three times. The location was excellent however, about 15-20 minutes from the airport. Upon check in, they did consider me VIP with Expedia. Had added perks, which included a bottle of wine, room upgrade (at the Unique Location), and discounts for the spa.

The property, staff and services were amazing, especially the staff. The area surrounding the resort was unsafe though, especially after nightfall. Locals wonder the beach area and will attempt to rob people without remorse as the beach is not monitored by resort personal after nightfall.

Based on the good reputation that follows your hotel, my stay there wasn’t pleasant. Starting with the food that was average to the service offered. The first day a person went to clean my room, she/he grabbed a towel that was on the floor dirty and hung it back to where it was initially. Based on the price I pay and reviews for this hotel, I was expecting more. However, I do have to say the place is beautiful.

My room was next to the house keeping room and there was so much noise. Every morning at 7 in the morning the house keeping ladies are yelling across the hallway while I’m trying to sleep. I will not be recommending this resort to anyone.

Non of the outlets in the room work, we had to charge the phones outside. Employees only gave us decent service if we tip them. Poor conditions in the buildings. Poor variety of food. It doesn’t worth the money!
