We loved everything about this property. VIP is definitely worth it. My only negative was the night before we left our butlers requested to meet with us. They requested gratuity. Even though we were going to do that anyways it just felt awkward. We had friends staying at the resort and they had the same experience.

While a few of the staffers are very nice, the majority is simply rude, as if they would hate tourists and hate their jobs. Nobody made us aware of the lunch buffet or anything, we had to go and find out on our own. We did not receive the "free" bottle of wine, we were not offered the included $50 for Spa treatments. I ask for a nice welcoming since it was my wife's birthday. That was completely ignored. The AC is moldy and has a horrible smell. After 3 nights we asked to be moved to another room, because we already had a hard time breathing. Instead of apologizing they argued and wanted to send a repair team to our room. And they were super upset that we insisted on moving to a room with a clean AC. In the new room the mini bar was empty and nobody filled it up. Except for the Japanese restaurant the food is mainly horrible and we spent the first day with stomach cramps. Seriously? for $500 a night we have to go through this.? They charge like high and and deliver like a 2 star Motel. Never again!
