For a five stars resort I have to say the food quality isn’t that great. Breakfast buffet had good variety of food options. However, lunch not so much. I feel lunch was the same the three days of my stay. Dinner was a little better because we ate at the specialty restaurants but yet the menus were limited too. Friendly staff and very accommodating.

Bahia Grand resort was very nice as was the majority of the staff so pleasant! So much food to choose from at buffet, 3 restaurants were also delicious even if servings were small, but most times you could still go to buffet. Until next year! Peace

The beach is beautiful. The entertainment staff is amazing and the food is decent. Not much to do after 9 pm. The rooms could be cleaner, and we had issues with hot water and the ac while there. It’s a decent budget resort, but wouldn’t go here expecting a luxury experience.

Very peaceful setting! The grounds were clean, property rarely felt crowded, lots of pool and beach chairs available. The entertainment was very good! Buffet food was decent, could have used a bit more variety. The water in front of the property was calm and easy to swim although a little murky rather than clear and blue as one would expect

The hotel needs updating. The rooms are out-of-date, i.e., no USB ports for charging cell phones, and plugs were not located conveniently. The food was fantastic! The housekeeping staff, the entertainment staff, and all bartenders were excellent! If it wasn't for the beach, I would definitely stay here again.

Upon checkin we were offered a upgrade for $25 per night x5 nights =$125 which I was good paying to have access to the entire resort, the front desk person than told me $500 extra which wasn’t adding up. Than told us he would give us a great room and needles to say it was far from that with a view of a 12 foot wall. We got in and settled and heading down to the pool at 9 pm only to find out the pool closes at 6 pm daily. So we decided to checkout the beach to find out the water was full of jelly fish, wasn’t starting out as a good trip. We spent the week at the pool which was very clean. The rooms are clean but outdated badly and the cleaning staff left limited towels and rarely stocked the fridge even after leaving tip daily. The food was decent, the workers seemed a bit stand off ish and didn’t seem to really go out of their way for the guests which was voiced many times by other guests as well. I travel a lot to these resorts including Bahia principe resorts and this is the worst one I have been too. For the price you can find much better all inclusive resorts to go to. Also paid the additional fee for private transport which was a complete disaster ended up waiting 2 hours at the airport only to find out it was another hour drive to the resort from puj airport. Returning I went to the desk to check in for pickup and there was very little communication or instructions. The drivers were great the organization was not.
