This was an amazing hotel. The grounds are gorgeous and the staff really cares about making sure you are happy and have everything you need. There are plenty of food options some better than others but that’s to be expected with resorts. Our favorite meal was always breakfast at the Kitchen Table due to its variety and quality of the food. Highly recommend Excellence Punta Cana.

Great resort. The staff could not have been better. The food was great, the place was beautiful. The room was nice. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I've had major back surgery, so that's saying something. The entertainment was great, nice gym and paddleball courts, etc. I hope to return.

What an amazing property. The Excellence Punta Cana Resort is top notch. The staff, cleanliness, great restaurants with food choices, and overall experience makes the resort exceptional. We booked a terrace room with VIP service and this is definitely the way to go. From the moment we arrived, we immediately felt the difference in the overall experience. Not to say that a regular room would have reduced the experience, but if you have the option to spend the extra money for the VIP experience, you won't regret it. We also couldn't get over how friendly the staff was, no matter the interaction. The Spa was out of this world and Nelis hands were truly blessed by God. Her talents completed our stay and convinced us to go back to Excellence Punta Cana. Don't read another review and book your room today, you wont regret it!

Resort was amazing. The only suggestion would be the music could be better. Play more bachata, merengue tipico making the property more authentic to the Dominican Republic. Lots of tourist come to these areas to get a taste of Dominican Republic and I feel that they can do better. A lot of people travel from all parts of the world and we already listen to music and eat the American foods so it would be nice to come to the country and really get a feel for Dominican Republic culture.

Excellence Punta Cana is an amazing all inclusive with top notch service, amenities, and cleanliness. This property is a solid 8.5/10, with the only downsides being 1) the beach/ocean are rough and not great for swimming or water activities 2) the restaurants are inconsistent with their food quality and quantity. If you are looking for an affordable and fun getaway at a great all-inclusive I highly recommend Excellence Punta Cana!

My group of nine had a wonderful time when we stayed there Oct 19-26. The staff was outstanding. We had a few minor medical issues and the doctor was great. The food depending on which restaurant was very good or better. The pool staff was always cleaning the pool area. Anytime we needed something the staff went above and beyond. Check-in and out were a breeze. Our room was kept spotless while we were there. I highly recommend it.

Overall it's great! It is hard to tell the size of each dish when order food, some dishes are small and some are large, and the food preparation is not fast, so we need to wait for our food to come to the table and find we need to order more and wait.
