I stayed at Barceló Bávaro in Punta Cana for 5 days with my 17-year-old daughter. The experience as a whole was deeply disappointing. I've stayed at many resports and I'm not an uppity person but this was by far the worst vacation I've experiences in my life. Upon arrival, we were given wristbands that served as room keys, but they didn’t work. After a long, tiring walk from the main building to our hotel (led by a bell boy), we had to walk all the way back to have the bands reset. To make matters worse, we were initially brought to the wrong room, adding to the confusion and frustration. Our room was just okay, but the bathroom was problematic. There was no privacy glass transparent doors for both the toilet and shower. The sink dispensed only hot water, which caused me to burn myself multiple times. Mold was present in the shower, and the blow dryer and shelves were coated in dust. Towels had yellow stains.The food experience was just as underwhelming. Many buffet items were cold and dry, and I felt sick after eating. Even the reservation-only restaurants failed to impress. Our dinner at Kyoto on April 16 was particularly awful. The waitress was rude, dismissive, and visibly frustrated when we had trouble with the digital menu. The language barrier was also a major probelm because when I complained to the staff, they didn't understand anything I said. Run far away from this place. Don't spend your hard earned money here.

The suites were small no privacy to change clothes only a small bathroom with no lock a small shower . There for 5 days room cleaned only 2. Iron never worked called 3 times They never came. BUT the rest of the resort made up for it

It was a good experience, but I was disappointed at the conditions of the room. There was an area in the bathroom and on the hallway that was always wet. When I let them know about it, they just sent cleaning services to mop it even though I told them it was a plumbing issue. I had to call them again, but nothing was solved. When I asked to change room they said there was none available. The corners, decorative items were all dusty as well. To end on a positive note, entertainment, food and overall experience was good

Service in the restaurants should be better, most of the time they didn’t understand what we were saying or helped us get drinks etc… Concierge is amazing ! Nicolay helped us so much, the vacation tour lady was the best and the girls in the kids club too! The music around the pool should be better. But we had so much fun and we love Barceló resorts.

The people that work in the hotel are trainnig to lie to you. The internet is not good enougt for work. There are no help from the front desk and they try to make you expend your money in things that they suppose to provide. The all inclusive is not really all there are a lot of things that are not include. And you need to paid $5 usd just to get out of the hotel because they do not allow people from outside of the hotel to pick you up. So if you have an activity bougth outside of the hotel you need to paid 5 to get trasportation to the outside gate that is really far for walk
