The hotel and grounds were fine. I didn’t appreciate the number of day passes they would sell to local families with hoards of screaming children taking over the pool. If you were looking for a quiet relaxing day by the pool, this was not the place. But other than that, it was very nice.

Incredible property with unbelievable views and snorkeling right in the lagoon area. Short walk to good food, or eat at one of wonderful restaurants on site. Free use of snorkel equipment and kayaks, with other rental stuff availble too. Loved to gym and spa are too!

The property is looking old. Maintenance is needed on slate pathways and to refreshen the rooms. Staff were pleasant however not helpful when it came to off resort area knowledge. no real concierge service to help with local tours except for those rune by the resort. Surprised on departure to find that our Expedia booking rate included breakfast which was neither on the printed Expedia invoice nor told to us on arrival. I did find it identified on the online summary. Compared to other resort offerings it was a better value so i guess we got what we paid for.

Overall comfortable stay. However, the room smelled very musty and the AC and the ceiling fan were not able to keep the high humidity from the room. The bathroom had much mildew. Staff was very accommodating.
