This was our first experience with an all-inclusive resort. We were pleased to find the variety of food available, so we didn't have to always eat the same things (however some were so good we did). The facilities were beautiful and clean. Was fun being next to the beach. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Pros: We got a room on the top floor in the newer building and it was absolutely stunning!! The views are breathtaking and possibly the prettiest sunset I've ever seen! Our butler Epi was very helpful and friendly, and SOME of the other employees and attentive servers too but NOT ALL! (specially the ladies,who won't smile at the guests which feels unwelcoming) The hotel was always clean and well kept, there are parts that can use updating/reno, but overall good. CONS: the food is mediocre, the breakfast and lunch menu never changes which will make you sick and tired of the dishes few days. They alternate the dinner menu, and both main restaurants serves decent fine dining meals. There is a pizza station which makes the best hawaiian pizza and the AlFresko which you can grab snacks from anytime. The drinks were a hit or miss depending on the bar tender assigned. MAJOR CON-- absolutely no enterntainment at night, we loved the calm and quiet vibe but we get jealous on how the hotel next door gives effort on doing some fun shows/activities for their guests. You can hear how people enjoys them too! Our room, although a bit newer needs some improvements too, the tub was not functional, there was no bidet and there's only one towel hook in the bathroom. OVERALL our experience was good but might choose to stay on a different hotel next time we're in Puerto Vallarta.

The size of the resort was good for us, somewhat on the smaller side but with 3 pools and on the beach. Food was fine but often not as described on the menu and also not served hot. With only the two restaurants, for a longer stay (10 days) options were limited . Lunches had the best options.

So this is the third time we stay in Puerto Vallarta... This is the smallest resort so far.. But was what we need... No fuss no noise.. No Entertainment... Really chill... If you are looking for a small quiet resort rhis is the place.... Room we had was suite it was the biggest room we stayed in... Big balcony with beautiful view and jacuzzi in the room... Room was big and clean with two full bathrooms.. Two tvs.. Full kitchen... Staff was awesome... Everybody was polite.. Nice and at your service(especially butler Andres I think its his name) ... Now the food... Biggest disappointment... If you are type of person who like to stuff himself with 10 different types of food this isn't the place for you... Everything is a la carte... You order antre.. Main dish and desert that's it... Now I wouldn't mind that if that food is delicious... But it's not... Really limited choice and not really good... We did love little bakery that is open 24/7 really nice little place with croissants.. Littlest sweet pastry's and soup... Check in was smooth... Didn't wait too long... Checked out was little kick in the butt... Because you check out at 11 and if your plane is later you'll have to pay everything you eat and drink after that.... Didn't have that problem at other resorts... It's a small resort so not a lot of pools to choose... But it worked for my family...

I liked the people who helped us with our luggage. We were treated like we were not important to them. We paid for an oceanfront deluxe room with a balcony and were given a down-floor view of the furnaces in front of the dirty balcony. That was a fraud! WE WANT OUR MONEY BACK! We do not recommend this place. We don't know why people give so many stars to this place, maybe because White people is treated differently. :(
