Best family vacation ever for high school spring break. We did a party boat excursion, and the white party was awesome. Safe environment for young kids to “party “ and enjoy spring break . Food was awesome . Enough variety every day for the six days we stayed . Entertainment staff super fun . Bartenders were awesome . Maid service was best . Room was spotless updated and fresh . Easy to accommodate family of 5 . Nothing bad to say , will go back someday .

I had both positive and negative experiences at this resort. The room and surrounding areas were clean, and the customer service was outstanding. However, the food and restaurant service fell short of 5-star standards. The quality of the food was not up to par, and the restaurant struggled to manage reservations due to the overwhelming number of guests. We ended up having to eat outside the resort for most of our stay.

I stayed here and the food was ok. The staff was nice, until I reached out to have some items shipped to me that I forgot in my room. It was a huge hassle. I contacted management and was very specific on what I left behind. They only shipped some of my items back. They kept some new items and denied that they were there. I was disappointed that they were dishonest and lied. If you go there, do not leave your stuff behind or unattended! They have yet to make this right.

Property was old and needs major renovation. Pools were small. Spent $6k (no flights) for 2 rooms and our view is a parking lot. Food was terrible. Buffet served same tired food daily for breakfast & lunch. Specialty restaurant food had limited choices and food was not good. Steak House offered 1 steak, a very thin rib eye. Asian food the food bowls were empty and no rush to fill it up. Drinks were terribel, liquor seriously watered down. I would not stay here again.

This is the second time I stay at a Riu resort and I’ll definitely be back. Great entertainment, great food, music, pools, staff. I highly recommend this place. The only thing I didn’t like is that they allow people to save the pool chairs even if no is there using the pool. People would leave their towel or belongings on their chair and that would save it for them even overnight for days on end. That’s the only thing I didn’t like.
