Construction was happening, concrete demission was happening. No gym as advertised The sea was too rough to swim in any distance. No lifeguards. Too many peddlers on the beach. They wake you up if you go to sleep. People leave item on sun lunger and go somewhere else, so if you do not go down early you probably not going to get one.

There was construction every day while we were on vacation, not ideal. The beach had bottle caps and trash, we had to be careful where we walked so we wouldn't cut our feet. The pool tiles needed to be repaired and the kids area was run down. There were not enough lounge chairs or umbrellas for all guests. People saved chairs with towels while not on the beach for hours, ridiculous. The chairs need to be replaced they are old and worn out. The bed in the room had springs poking through and needed to be replaced five years ago. The breakfast food was good and staff amazing but the dinners were cold and not very flavorful. The front desk staff did not explain the details of the hotel enough like how to use the towel cards, transportation, or other particulars. The hard sell of the time shares was not appealing and when we declined the staff doing the time shares was unhelpful after that. The Vallarta Adventures staff was good. I also did not appreciate that some of the pool bar staff overcharged me as a guest, that was not right. Also recommending only the locations that staff was getting gratuity from was not appealing. I would not book this hotel again.

Some staff need to have a better attitude, and we got the wrong room to star, and they try to avoid changing us to the right room and when they did they were not happy about.

The staff was great!! Room cleanliness and surrounding area was not good. Our room had a connecting door and our neighbors were loud. We could hear everything from them. The other side our neighbors would get up 6am smoking on their balcony and waking us up everyday. The smoke would come into our room. I thought it was non smoking? Very inconvenient if your a non smoker.

close to local amenitied, beacch was very good, kid friendly. Majority of staff fantastic. BUT in need or paint and maintenace . Every where is under construction. Only two restaurnts open and only one for breeakfast causing long waits .Lots of misinformation as some staff ill informed. In otjer wards told one thing by one person and the opposite by another. Had abeautiful ocean view but balcony door did not lock and air did not work and neither rectified curing our stay.Italian restaurnt food was inedible , first glass of wine was off and even after our own seasoning couldend't finish eitther meal but were charged full price.

The property is being dismantled. Alot of construction noises and trucks driving down the walkways. The housekeeping didn’t clean our room on two days so we had to go down to the desk and ask that it be done. Very inconvenient. We will not stay there again.

It was ok if you only spend the night over, my family and I went so we booked for 4 days the stay only was $810usd for 4 days 3 nights when we got there they told us if we added the all included it would be $522usd total for 4 persons we added it but the food was the same every day not a variety and they had a new year dinner which they said if we wanted to participate it would be another $88usd per person which was insane if it was all included why not include that! they had two restaurants and they said one would be oriental and the other Italian all lies the new year day they closed one of them for the dinner and we had only one choice which was the same Mexican menu of every day when both of the restaurants were available and open it was the same food in both of the restaurant’s also the bars would get closed very early so you could even enjoy the drinks one day they had music playing so the bar next to the stage guess what they closed it there was a bar at lobby but it also closed at 11 and you had to cross a whole pathway to get a drink not worth it by 11:30 everything was silent and closed do not recommend

At first, I was hesitant to book at Krystal Vallarta because of some of the negative reviews, but I saw some great reviews also and I decided to trust on the great ones. I was not disappointed. I booked two rooms, one facing the mountains and the one I had facing the ocean, absolutely beautiful. The deluxe rooms that I got our brighter, maybe recently renovated or painted, but they were spacious and a lot livelier, compared to the other rooms that I happened to see. It’s a very big property with several buildings, it was a nice walk from my hotel building to the beach area. I definitely will recommend to my big group of friends who love to travel to Puerto Vallarta.

The property is dated. The rooms are ok. Water pressure and hot water were limited. The pictures are of an older building by the pool and beach. Hard to get chairs by pool or beach. No monitoring of people holding seats all day. We did not do the food package. Too many good restaurants in the area or downtown.
