Basic hotel. Bed was comfortable but had a cement wall for headboard, and couldn't sleep due to incessant noise from a compressor operating right outside our room. Only stayed two nights, so didn't ask to move. No elevator, which we knew when booking. Location was good, one street over from Malecon, but on a very busy, very noisy street. Restaurant wasn't great, but many other options close by. Reception staff very nice and helpful with directions.

Nice interior design/decor, good restaurant, plenty of hot water in the shower (not so much in the sink), room had a safe, very good A/C. - Intermittent wi-fi, no cable or satellite TV (antenna only), no hand towels, no elevator, ice cold pool, no "Do Not Disturb" signs for the doors, no room fridge, no coffee Mondays (restaurant closed).

I think most Americans would find this property to be very basic. The pool on the property is really not useable. On the plus side, it is located close to the Malecon and the romantic zone. Finally, the staff were fine except for one person that caused problems when I checked in.

It was very nice. It was clean. It was quiet, but I think the two restaurants are misleading because basically the same restaurant with two names. The pool had no sun too close to the restaurant tables. I was an unhappy, but I thought that it would be different than it was But now that I know about it, I would stay there again, knowing how I needed to play my trip.
