Mio is really great value and good location. The front desk worker, Antonio, was really helpful when we had a minor issue with our room. Antonio was able to send someone to try to fix the issue and ultimately worked some magic to get us into a new room! Thanks

Very safe. Nice rooms.the location is good if you want a city vibe. The pool is lovely but way too small for a property of this size.Guests should not have to "save" chairs to have a place to sit. Staff is nice and the all adult element is a plus. Hotel needs to be more informative as to how to access local amenities. We has a balcony but unfortunately it overlooked a deserted property next door. So ask for a room that faces the Malecon. No beach access but it is easy enough to reach through a neighboring property.

We stayed at The Hotel Mio twice - the rooms were extremely clean, the hotel itself was clean and the breakfast was phenomenal each morning… def worth the extra $ for breakfast package. The pool area is a little small so if it is busy it could be hard to get a seat. The hotel itself is on the street not the beach so yes, you hear traffic, but for my husband and I that wasn’t an issue at all. You do have to walk a few blocks around the hotel to gain access to the beach but it wasn’t a bad walk. Super safe, easy to get transportation and the hotel staff was so friendly and spoke wonderful English.

I have been to Puerto Vallarta many times over the space of many years. I’ve stayed in pretty much all the different areas in all kind of different properties over the years as I’ve passed through the phases of my life. My boyfriend and I were craving a more modern boutique experience with ADULTS ONLY resort, no children running around or in the hot tub! We were not disappointed in the Hotel Mio! Everything from the beautiful room with king bed, to the friendly helpful staff, to the gorgeous rooftop pool was fantastic. We opted for the breakfast plan and I was very pleased and impressed with the quality and offering of the buffet. You can also order fresh cooked eggs and omelets. The staff at the bar on the roof top are so nice and welcoming. Bonus- no need to rush to get a lounge chair when the pool opens either. There’s always a few openings here or there. Beach access is available through the Hotel Friendly, located beside/behind the Mio. You can get straight to the beach and enjoy all it has to offer. The sunset there and the rooftop pool are not to miss. The only negative I can mention about the Mio is the traffic noise can be heard from the rooms, even with the patio doors closed. I got used to it, you still hear it no matter where the room is. You can also rent bicycles at the Tour desk. Cabs can be flagged outside the Mio to get anywhere, just check the fare before you get in. Buse stop just down the street too. Bus fare is 10 pesos and so easy, safe and fun!

1) The rooftop pool area is very nice however they should entertain variety of music rather then daily techno. 2) The pool water temperature is set far to high and should rather be heat setting off. The pool should be refreshing rather then sweating when leaving pool water. 3) Complimentary coffee in main lobby nearest to restaurant should be offered between 07:00 till 17:00 rather than 07:00 till 11:00.

Beautiful rooms, super clean and comfortable

Beautiful new modern rooms, large with balcony. The showers were huge and fabulous water pressure. The beds were very comfortable. The roof top pool was lovely with comfortable lounge chairs, lounge beds and food and drinks served right at the pool. The food up there was expensive and just okay. We did not check out the breakfast served on the lobby floor. We would stay again and longer but note it was very very noisy in the rooms by the highway. We would request a room as far from the highway as possible.

The hotel was clean and the rooms were large and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. It is only 10 minutes from the airport and convenient to shopping and restaurants. You can walk to or take a cab to the malecón and zona romántica. The star of the hotel is its rooftop pool!!!!
