The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Any questions or concerns were answered and taken care of in very short order. The internet was ok but tended to drop out on occasion. My only suggestion would be, maybe have comfortable chairs on the balconies. The chairs provided were great if you're sitting at the table but not so good for sitting and reading. Overall, I was very pleased with our stay.

The hotel staff were excellent - friendly, helpful and accommodating. The location is great, the hotel is right on the beach, walking distance from many shops and restaurants. The room was nothing fancy at all but very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the restaurant Si Senor which was attached to the hotel. There was no pool, the rooftop had a hot tub sized cooling pool and some lounge chairs. I would stay here again.

Very nice hotel with kind staff. They are located right on the beach & there is a restaurant on property where you are given a discount for dining there. Rooms are nice with a fridge although the water filter/dispenser was not working. My only gripe is there isnt a pool and there isnt much beach strand to chill on the beach but you can walk a few short feet to the right and enjoy the beach right there. Location is fantastic right in the heart of all the action in the Romantic zone!

Great Location. Front Desk Staff very Friendly. Rooms were average and what i expected. Maybe slightly overpriced, but I was visiting over New Years so expected to pay more. I have no reference in comparison to other hotels in similar price range as I did not visit other Hotels. If you expect a 5 star hotel, book a 5 star. If you want Friendly and Convenient the Emperador is a great option.

Worth the money for a beachfront hotel. However, the air conditioning was very inconsistent, it kept stopping even after technician came to reset breakers. It was nice to be able to prepare a small meal using balcony kitchenette, utensils, etc. while sitting overlooking the beach.

The hotel was centrally located to everything, but the noise level on the street was loud whether it was day or night. The hotel says it's beach front and it is, but you have to reserve chairs the day before with the restaurant just below the hotel and you can ONLY be on the beach till 3:00 pm. Some of the staff were helpful and others were not. Overall the hotel is only a 2.5 star. We would not reserve with this hotel again.
