We really enjoyed our stay at the Emperador. The location is excellent. You can’t beat looking over the beach from your balcony. The hotel was very clean & the maids were so nice. All the staff were pleasant & always helpful. The hotel definitely could use some TLC but everything functioned well & was kept neat & clean. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Always stay here when in PV. Beachfront with restaurant and bar. Always book the ocean front room. You will have a large lanai with kitchenette

Great location! Not luxury, but right on the beach, reasonably priced, and very nice and accommodating staff. The were able to hold our bags, secure an early check in and get us right into the sand. It's noisy, but I think that comes with the location, and probably can't be avoided. Would stay here again.

A very nice older property that is centrally located within a 5-10 minute walk of Old Town’s beaches, restaurants, clubs and shopping. There’s an Oxxo across the street and coffee shop about two minutes walk. The property is kept very clean and staff are always helpful. The rooftop loungers and plunge pool are a great place to relax early morning or late late at night. The Emperador is my new destination when visiting Puerto Vallarta!

I loved the view but the property was a little bit old. Needs renovation. No wash or hand towels. Jacuzzi doesn’t work is water temperature and works more as a mini pool. There is no parking and is hard to find parking in this zone.

Older boutique hotel with affordable ocean view rooms with a large balcony. WiFi was great in the room, a few English channels on the TV and a rooftop sitting area with a small plunge pool. Very nice stay overall.
