Very good hotel! On the beach! Close to shops and pharmacy. Very nice and friendly personal. Just 2 minuses: to loud at night- when drunk people keep talking at loud and personal don’t tell him nothing and you can’t sleep till 1-2 am and early morning- at 6- 6.30am, when personal start preparing for the morning breakfast and they speak loud, sing, whistle, laugh. Second minus: not all restaurant personal are friendly. It just about restaurant staff, all other- very nice and friendly.

Hotel is older but clean. Found some of the staff amazing and others outright rude. We were only able to do one restaurant reservation and were told we needed to book at least a week ahead, hard to do in a one week stay. We travel a lot and have never had multiple rude employees during a stay.

The property has all of the amenities, we found the buffet food to be very good, as well as the à la carte restaurants. It was a nice walk to go to the Malecon from here. The rooms could use some updating, but we found it comfortable and met our needs.

The resort is very large. The property is getting dated. There was no soap dish in our shower. The shower itself was good. Plenty of hot water. The food was ok. The staff was excellent. We enjoyed our stay.

Amazing staff I can’t stress that enough. Food was great for an all inclusive also many restaurants that are free outside of the buffet. Also the activities are offered were great. Right on the beach staff brings drinks to the beach and offer beachfront massage. All in all a great experience the only thing I do wish is that it was a younger crowd being in my 20s.

It’s a small resort so you can get anywhere quickly which I love. Foods basic, odd time the surprise you. Fries are never crisp unless you ask for a new batch. Should include benches for their smoking areas. All in all a very comfortable resort

Mold in the showers, ac doesn’t work, me and my mother had both gotten sick from this place and stayed in bed the rest of the trip. Staff does not show any empathy knowing our room reached 88 degrees due to not having ac.

It was very understaffed so service was slow. Lack of maintenance like elevators. Good staff , terrible managers. Buffet had very little variety. Very few English speaking staff. Hard to communicate. I arrived and was immediately checked in. Room was clean and in good condition but the ac did have a hard time cooling the room. My room had a patio to the pool which was nice. Smoking isnt permitted on the property so you have to go out the front reception. The food was very nice and the restaurants for dinner were very polite, fast and great tasting. There was some construction but it didmt interfere with my stay. The shows they have are nice and people seemed to enjoy the karaoke.

The restaurants were very good. The buffet was ok. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall experience was very nice and I’d stay a 3rd time. Only think I didn’t appreciate was guest smoking at most all exit/ entrances, this was gross!

We were gone for 1 week and were put in the connecting Villa Villarta location. Loved the quiet pool, less busy, great staff and wonderful breakfast where they have the Mexican restaurant at night. The resort was clean and the Italian and Asian restaurants had AMAZING food. Buffet was ok but had enough variety to enjoy. Best advice was to ask for Cappuccino (which not everyone knew) better than the reg coffee. No complaints was a great week away especially with -40 temp back home !
