Location was great to old town and board walk. Only 2 restaurants available outside of buffet. However, both required reservations and 1 was closed on Sunday and they all had limited hours. Food was less than average. For an all inclusive resort, you were being charged extra to include bottle water in your room refrigerator, only being allowed 2 a day. Room service menu very limited with a surcharge (understandable tho). The resort was very pushy with their version of a timeshare that they called a club membership. As well, this meant there were areas or amenities that you were not granted that normal aok inclusive resorts normally offer. Overall, PV was great and will come back; but I will NOT be staying at this resort again.

Food buffet was cafeteria food at best. Cold and under cooked pasta, raw potatoes, theme nights with Italian and Asian menu were unappetizing both in looks and taste. Honeymoon suite tub could use cosmetic upgrade but it worked. I can’t say that about the spa area. Only 4 of the jets worked. Conflicting music from different area at the pools (be aware there is no adult only swimming pool, only a small area around the 6 person lounge “pool”. A couple of nights we were kept up do to parties with loud dance music on the volleyball court. The staff was fantastic and the place was clean.

The location was great ! Rent the bikes from the resort and ride to Melecon!! The bikes are old and rusty but it was fun! They only give you two water bottles a day , we had to buy water across the street. Pools are packed and dirty. Jorge at the pool was awesome!! He did a great job serving us. The food is not good. We ate out most nights. The buffet had the same thing every morning. Staff was not friendly. The resort is full of locals. We only saw a handful of American travelers. It felt like staff treated locals better then American travelers. If your planning on exploring MX this is a good resort for that. Feels more like a hotel. If your coming to relax and enjoy the resort experience , don’t stay here.

Thoroughly enjoyable stay! Right on the beach, plus pools. The all-inclusive meals had a lot of variety. Have had better food, but it was pretty good. Friendly staff providing excellent service! Very clean. Lots of activities. Extremely clean. Will be bringing additional family back next year...

Great resort for a family getaway! My wife and I stayed on our honeymoon here. We stayed in the honeymoon suite which was very spacious. Only downside of the room was that the Jacuzzi tub didn't work. The all inclusive option was great although the room service did charge a delivery fee. The food was great. Breakfast was the best food out of all the meals. Rooftop bar was sweet with great views. They had an itinerary for activities throughout our week stay. However, when we showed up for the ping pong tournament, they said it was at different times and that we missed it. This happened 3 separate times. I really wanted to play some good ping pong. Other than that this place was great. Staff was very kind and overall the area was great!
