Listen, this isn’t the ritz Carlton. You get what you pay for. WiFi has to be paid for - doesn’t work in the room or any of the common areas. Food is decent - on par with other all inclusive resorts in this price range. They use absolute bottom shelf alcohol so I went to a liquor store down the road and bought my own. The place needs a facelift but most of the staff is pleasant and the beach and pool are nice. Definitely worth the price paid. Also, it’s a little sketchy when you leave the resort so be aware - I wouldn’t recommend walking around at night.

Ocean view was covered with trees, more like front view. No special greetings upon arrival for ex: drink warm hand towel. no mojito available in any of the bars. Room was not ready at check in, So lost an hour. The faucet in the bathroom was loose. Steps going the beach are to high. No late snack .not enough seats so it was like waiting for people to leave to get sit Positive note: super cleaned area staff are helpful when asked for info, Love the night club. Food was excellent. Staff in the buffet were attentive. Room was not musty.

I don’t recommend this place to no one, it’s extremely inconvenient the fact that there is no way to communicate with nobody, there isn’t any wifi signal anywhere in the property, even by purchasing WiFi you still can’t use it and they wouldn’t refund what they charge $48 usd for nothing! To make matters worse, they don’t have hot water! So you have to take cold showers and for some reason they don’t even give you towels… an incredible inconvenience is also the fact that they only give one key for the room! One key! Really a bad place

I’m not coming back to this hotel and I will not recommend this to none of my friends or family,. The receptionist made a mistake on changing us for the 2 days and then we have to pay for their mistake.

This property could've been wonderful, but there were a few things that just ruined it for us. Overall, the room was substantial and we had no issues (although one member of our group could never get assistance with their clogged shower drain). The food was mostly great, although the service was terrible. We asked one lady for water and she said, "oh, that's a different service". The thing that absolutely ruined the vacation for us was the customer service. It was a disorganized mess, manned by people who were downright rude and inconvenienced by us being there. We had an issue with a reservation and we were told, "Expedia has to reinstate the reservation". I spent an hour working with Expedia (who was fantastic), only to be told by the front office staff, "Our reservation office is now closed". They made me jump through hoops, asserting it was Expedia's fault and giving me random email addresses to send things to. Most of the staff were so dismissive and rude. The people manning the front desk could not make any decisions and had to repeatedly go to a back office to "verify with the manager". One man at the front desk even started cleaning his ears while we were speaking. In addition, the people manning the bars were rude, always too busy to help and would never look anyone in the eye. I imagine this is a management issue, but if customer service is important to you, spare yourself the hassle and go elsewhere.

Staff were super nice. First room filthy, second room better. After multiple requests- took 2 days to get 2 additional towels, 3 days to get 2 additional pillows. Never had hot (or even warm) water. Place has potential, beautiful location, needs better customer service and overall management.

For a deluxe room the beds were small and uncomfortable barely room for 2 people and the pillows were for children very small and not much to them. The shower didnt work properly and there was a button broken on it to change the spray. There was also no hot water. Dinner was mediocre the wine we paid for separately was horrible

Stay away at all costs

Our stay was only for one night. We were taken to the worst building that did not have any lights in the halls. I fell down the stairs late at night because there was literally no lights on at all. I told the clerk at the desk three times and he said they were looking into it. Still when I went back to the room at 11 I had to use the light on my phone to see where I was walking. I have been in Dominican Republic at least 40 times and never experienced anything like this before
