Lovely property, excellent staff who were helpful and courteous. The only thing I would like to see is more protein for vegetarians at the buffet. There were vegetables but very little protein. It would be great to serve tofu or beans cooked without lard or egg dishes at lunch and dinner.

We had 2 bookings at different levels. My wife and I booked a Ruby suite which came with a number of extras over the basic bookings. The most significant of these was the Butler service which I cannot speak highly enough about. Christian and Rafael we very professional, attentive, and patient when meeting our needs. They checked in daily and were available but not intrusive. As with any resort in Mexico there are always little problems and they went out of their way to get all of them fixed for us. This included moving us to a different room when requested. If you stay here, definitely try to get room BL40. It wasn't just ocean view or beach front, it was on the beach. 3 step down to the sand from our private deck with loungers. The view was amazing. The pool servers would actually deliver right to the deck. Best room in the hotel in my opinion. They also did something that I have seen on cruises but never at resorts - the senior management all lined up and were introduced at the main pool, took questions and solicited feedback, and then served the guests special treats in their seats around the pool. A nice touch that shows they care about the guests and their experience. I also noticed that this resort was not as "coin operated" as other resorts I've been to. Everyone was happy to serve you. It was great to be able to tip for good service, rather than tipping to get service.

Spent a week with our adult children,18 & 20. This resort had by far the most attentive servers and best overall service of any all inclusive resort I’ve stayed at. The grounds were clean and well kept. Food was on the whole very good for an all inclusive. We tried every restaurant and my family loved the steakhouse. They try to appeal to a wide variety and appease people with a poolside dining option, but because so many little children are dropping food the birds become a bit of an issue. Also, it’s important to understand that no matter where you go in this part of Mexico seaweed is going to be an issue. Sensira did ok at this but would have been better served to use their tractor daily to stay on top of the seaweed. This is a very family friendly resort, geared toward families with young children. We truly enjoyed our stay but with older kids we would likely look to another resort, possibly adults only, to appeal to all of us. I found the resort very relaxing and we stayed in the adults only section for the most part which helped to limit the screaming etc near the kids pool. For anyone with children 16 and under I would say this would be a great fit.

Came here for a family vacation with our 6 month old. The food was great, the resort was clean. Only thing is that they do not have enough lounge chairs for such a big resort you have to wake up super early to get a spot. Also what drew us after weeks of research was how beautiful the water looked only to come and see it was nothing like the photos. So much seaweed. Adolfo, Mario, Justo and the team at the bar deserve recognition as they went above and beyond. Such amazing people!

This was an amazing time. Staff was wonderful and helpful. Looks are beautiful. Enjoyed the adult area. Buffet was delicious. Our favorite restaurant was the steakhouse. Our waitress Ana did not miss a thing along with her assistant Juan. Our drink was always full. Make sure you make a reservation. Also we played minigolf everyday.

Cons: only one great restaurant that gets booked up quickly, and resort needs some maintenance (lots of broken tiles, our door face plate was damaged). Can overlook all that for the great staff.

We stayed at Sensira over spring break and it was just what we needed - family friendly, safe, great staff…just tons of fun! Our kids are 5 and 6 - so much for them to do: swim in the pools, ocean, trampoline, zip line, kids club activities, mini golf, ice cream, and video games. We all had a blast. This was the smallest place I have been but that was perfect for a first time with kids. Would definitely recommend. Only complaint was they never restocked the mini bar - I never called or talked to the front desk about it as there were bars to grab a drink - but it would be nice if they brought more pop and water to the rooms.

7 adults and 4 kids (8-11). We all loved the resort! Check-in/out was quick and easy! It is very safe & kid friendly! The resort is compact so you can get anywhere within about 5 minutes. The Ruby suite was spacious and bright! Emilio made sure our room was kept tidy and stocked with fresh towels! The Amber lounge was nice. The Butler service allowed us to book dinner reservations for us, but not for our full group. Rafael checked in each day to see if we needed anything. There are 3 stray dogs, but they seem tame. I saw kids petting them without issue. POOLS & OCEAN: They clean and maintain the pools regularly - staff collected leaves from the pool with nets The beach is beautiful, but the ocean is murky and has seaweed. The cabanas were annoying. Got up at 4am to get one, but someone else had it when I went back at 7am. If you leave it for 30 mins they can give it to someone else. FOOD & DRINK: Lots of easy access to food and drink! Choice of 4 beers and premium liquor. Mini bar was very well stocked! Dinner: we could usually just walk in and get seated - even as a group of 11. The Mexican restaurant was our favorite! We went 3 times, and the staff were great! We celebrated my birthday one night, and my in-law’s anniversary another night. They made it really special! Ask for their habanero sauce - it adds a wonderful burst of flavor! Special shout-outs to Filipe and team!

The rooms are spectacular, as most are facing the ocean. Building and rooms are all modern and super clean. Excellent room service. My main issue was the buffet was rather small. It was the same food every day, which got pretty boring on day 4 and 5. There is not much night except one hour night show from 9-10 pm and then everyone dissappears, which family with kids like I suppose. Super kid friendly with video game rooms, theatre to see movies, toddler slides in separate pool area, zip lining over the pool and rock climbing. Beach was very dirty. Resort tried its best to clean out the weeds but there was a ton. Beach area isn’t lit at night so I could sit by the beach at early night as I would like to with family. No shops or markets around except a store in the resort itself. You have to get a taxi to drive to any shops.

Sensira is highly recommended. The staff were friendly and punctual. The location was beautiful. If you want to simply relax, this all inclusive resort can help you do so. We basically stayed all day until sunset in one of the cabanas (though they are first-come-first-serve). The French restaurant on the second level, Galerie Des Sens, was a highlight. We'll be back.
