Overall beautiful property the staff is amazing and the amenities are great. However items for purchase are priced very high and the restaurants get booked fast. Tho we did have several parties on site during my visit. I would visit again for sure.

Resort was amazing top notch facilities stall was awsome except house keeping my daughters room was not done one-day one day my wife had good poisoning threw up in bathroom while on toilet had get house keeping to clean bathroom tipped them large they left vomit on our walls and in grout in bathroom floor even after they cleaned rooms four more days vomit still remained not what I expected from a resort of this caliber do better house keeping some days coffee wasn't filled up no towels changed had to phone front desk for supplies many times during the week besides housekeeping problem resort was awsome

Horrible service and rude staff. Everything costs extra…definitely not All inclusive. Every single little thing will cost you money. So ridiculous. Staff not helpful at all and quite rude. Don’t waste your money here!!

Check-in took longer than expected, but everything else exceeded our expectations. We booked this resort for the slides and were expecting the food to be just average. We’ve stayed at many all-inclusive’s and we’re surprised at how good the food was at every meal

An amazing family friendly resort. The staff were very polite, attentive, helpful and a lot fun. Great activities during the day and evening time. The lazy river was very lazy. Honestly we had a really great time on this trip. We were at the resort for a wedding, brought our two young children with us. Check in was super speedy, because we booked with expedia we had our own separate check in/check out area. We got discounts to the spa and different activities/upgrades. The resort was great, easy to get around, fun for kids, young teens and adults. They always had something going on at the pools to get people having fun! The evening shows were great, they always seemed to have a kid show earlier and then a adult/family friendly show after the kid show. The A La Cartes were great, this was the first time I was in Mexico and actually enjoyed the steak at the steakhouse restaurant. I felt like there was something for everyone at this resort, they had a lot to offer, but it didnt require walking a mile to get to it. The kids loved the lazy rivers and the ice cream store. Sports bar food was amazing, they always had food, you never went hungry. Definitely a great spot! Shoutout to our swim up bartender Patti, she kept the drinks flowing and everyone laughing!

We had an excellent week at the Royalton Splash! The property was beautiful and well maintained, and our room was nice and cleaned well every day. There were tons of activities to keep our kids, 6 and 9, entertained. Disappointed about some of the big water slides not being open every day. The food was delicious and there were lots of options. Especially loved having the snack bar and food trucks outside and accessible around the pools. Bar service was great, a bit of a long wait at swim up bar only. Beach was nice but ocean was not that clear blue water you’d expect, very murky and smelly. The service we received from our Expedia concierge, Krystal, was excellent, from booking us dinner reservations, offering little surprises and helping with a late checkout and hospitality suite. Highly recommend this resort!

Okay but not great

Beautiful property. Friendly and attentive staff - especially Ricardo, Juan and Nanle. The beach is clean and plenty of chairs on all of the days we were there. The only drawback for us was the food. With all the choices there was, the food was disappointingly bland and tasteless. We went off the resort and found delicious local cuisine in Puerto Morelos (for a fraction of the cost!) Also if I am in Mexico it would be great to at least hear some regional music being played instead of constant American bandstand.

My time at the Royalton was beyond amazing the staff members are incredible especially Johnathan he went above and beyond to make my son 1st bday great. I highly recommend staying at the Royalton food and aesthetics are breathtaking I’m a huge fan of Royalton hotels from the one in st Lucia,Jamaica now Cancun can’t wait to return.

Awesome resort for kids. Everything walkable and the nightly entertainment was so good. Chicken was a bit dry at buffet but many options. I would recommend booking restaurants for a good meal. There was seaweed on beach they would clean thruout the day. Overall 4.5 stars. I would go back.
