Hotel has laundry facilities but no change at the desk. They often rely on the gas station next door for providing change to their guests. How about installing a change machine?

We were greeted by friendly helpful staff. Our room was very clean and comfortable and the area quiet. Though the property is older, it is maintained well and is clean and the amenities are as good as any newer lodging. The outdoor pool was a plus. While a breakfast bar was offered the choices were lean. The nearby gas station/convenience store along with the surrounding beauty of the mountain and lake recreation areas make it a positive to return here when visiting local family.

We always stay here and never have had any issues except for one of the staff members taking my pillow home and then they acted like they couldn’t find it. I reserved a room for my son and specifically told them he would use his own credit card. I had a note on the reservation and I called! The guy said yes if course we will make sure he uses his own card. Next morning my credit card was charged and I have two extra charges! When my son tried to put it on his card the woman says , nope, it’s already paid for. No communication or someone doesn’t read.

I stayed here the night of Aug 23. I'm overall satisfied with my stay, and would stay here again. Views are beautiful, decent rates, quick check in and friendly staff. The room was good, had a microwave and fridge as well as a love seat and mini table along with the bed and desk. Might be a small detail, but I liked that the shampoo/lotion bottles had braille on them. There are a few restaurants within walking distance. Pet friendly. Only issues were that there was slim pickings for breakfast at 8 AM, unless you're into cereal or want a waffle. That was a bit disappointing. I don't believe there was an elevator in the building, and the room was very warm when I arrived (ac not on, curtain open with the sun coming through). Took a few hours with the AC unit on the lowest setting to cool the room down.

The hotel itself is very rundown. We booked or hotel online and we were very unimpressed from the moment we drove in. The receptionist was very nice but it looked like she had just rolled out of bed. We also saw her later and she was walking around barefoot. Our room was below average. There was a chair with stains on the upholstery. The linens were clean from what we could see but the bed skirt was stained. Also, our screen window was broken and would not close. There were also some sketchy people looming around the hotel and I'm certain there was some illegal activity (drugs/prostitution) going on. We did not feel safe and hardly slept. Needless to say, I would not recommend this hotel and would never stay here again.

This property is infested with fleas. Walked into the lobby and immediately started to get bit by them didn't even sleep in the room and slept across the street at the rest stop in my car. No way for a refund as this was prepaid.

Night shift staff, John, was very helpful. The breakfast was so poor with one half a bagel and ONE bread available. The original waffel came out tasting sour (maybe the mix was spoiled?) Only 2 apples in the basket, etc. the whole setup was so skimpy. Worst breakfast I ever saw in any hotel.
