Perfect for what we needed, but showing some wear
The stay was fine. Room and bed were nice. Staff was great as they put us close to an exit door as we had our dog with us. The bathroom could use some love, you can see where the moisture started to impact the door.

The property was close to attractions and it’s a nice property. We rented 4 rooms. One of the rooms was given in error (not the king suite we paid for higher). The staff was hesitant to switch saying all the rooms were full. Only after mentioning that we paid a higher price for the king suite (and not the queen) did the switch was made. The new room given didn’t have heat that was working. The staff did their best and tried to get it working for an hour, and then had to switch us for another room. In all, we switched 2 times and didn’t get a final room until post midnight.

Neat and easy check in process. Rooms are as expected within the price range, but the extras provided surpassed our expectations. what I love the most is the kitchenette, and the kitchen tissue rolls, dishwashing liquid and sponge are already provided in the room. Great! Would recommend this to place to some friends if visiting Baps Temple in Robbinsville NJ.

Caught off guard by the smell
I have stayed at Staybridge Suites in the past both in the US and in the UK. The best one I've ever stayed at was in the UK. That one met the standards for cleanliness, service, Etc. The one in Cranbury, New Jersey is in need of some improvements. I've stayed there in the past but this time was particularly concerning because of the foul odor in the room that met me as soon as I opened the door. It's a good thing I travel with peppermint oil because I had to spray the entire room with it including the carpet to kill the smell. It's obvious that they don't do a thorough job of cleaning because if they did the room wouldn't have such a terrible odor. There was also a constant smell of marijuana from a first floor unit close to the exit. I remember the last time I stayed there that same room had marijuana coming from it. Maybe that's the designated marijuana rental unit. The hotel is in need of a number of updates. It's set up as an extended stay for business Travelers with conveniences and amenities such as a laundry room and a gym. The laundry room has machines that are old and of the two washers only one was working and of the four dryers one was inoperative. The gym was very good for it's small size. It was equipped with a treadmill, elliptical and a bike along with free weights and benches and an exercise ball. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was good.

Staff very friendly and helpful, easy check in, rooms clean and had just about everything in them. Only three negatives the tables next bed sharp corners, no creamer for coffee and no forks. But great stay I would come back again. Great shower, clean room and comfortable bed.
