Great location and staff but outdated bathrooms

This is a lovely hotel in a great location - with great character. The staff are incredibly good. The downside was the shower was only moderately warm or cold and there was a sewer smell in the room. The rooms do need updating (bathrooms primarily as the character of the bedroom is lovely). Obviously we went to explore beautiful Prague and not spend too much time in the room but overall 4/5 seems fair.

Fine Old Town hotel in Prague

Nice old palace in the Old Town; great staff. Wonderful on-site high-end restaurant "Deer". Traditional furnishings, but has elevator.

This property is located in old town so it’s great from a location perspective. old ornate furniture and room with no natural light. Broken coffee table, not great to be in the room other than sleep. Expensive substandard hotel

Very pleasant stay

Right at old town center, only 2 minutes to clock tower and main square. Chaming old mansion, classical decoration, specious room. Only one thing not up to 5 star hotel standard, they do not have luggage's room. The luggages are just put at the connor of recieption hall. And on our 2nd day, the maid opened the window and did not close it. The window is behind the curtain and we did see it. It was very cold during the night. We only found out the window was ope. The next morning. Otherwise, it could be a perfect stay.

As you would expect the property is old but in the most part well maintained and clean. There were some features that did not work such as the fridge in the room which we reported to the staff. Air conditioning was very noisy. The staff were all polite and aided me and my wife with any questions we had. The location of the hotel is excellent.

Patrick was AMAZING! He parked our 2 cars, took care of our luggage & had my 2 yr old granddaughter laughing & giving him high fives. He gaves us i formation going sightseeing & restaurants including the hotel. We saw him for 3 days. No one could be more polight, friendly & welcoming. The hotel was very pretty * we were able to walk all over.
