This little boutique hotel is stunning in every way. Tucked at the edge of Vassar College, it is beautifully integrated into the community and landscaping. Walkable restaurants are everywhere and the in-hotel Salt Line is an elegant bar and dining option.

Brand new hotel with thoughtful, well appointed rooms. The rooms actually are bigger and nicer looking in person. Free continental breakfast was good with many options. This hotel is a very good value.

Brand new hotel, with a modern esthetic. Comfortable bed, walk-in shower. Quiet location. Very good food service on site, The Salt Line, but local eateries within walking distance. Some rattling AC that they say is getting some attention.

Place was excellent! Very clean, very accommodating, and the complimentary breakfast was pretty crazy! You don't get many places that have in-house, freshly baked pastries and fresh chia pudding every morning. I will be staying here again, for sure!

A gorgeous new hotel, adjacent to the Vassar College campus. The hotel design is minimalist and practical--good storage; mini fridge and coffee maker; comfortable seating; great shower! The Heartwood is professionally well-run, warm and welcoming. Will be out place to stay when we re-visit friends in the area. Top Notch!
