The hotel is newly renovated and very clean. It was very quiet during our stay. Staff at the front desk were super helpful and friendly. We stayed in a suite and it would have been nice to have some supplies provided for the kitchenette - a few dishwasher tabs, paper towel, dishes and cutlery. But overall a great stay and we would stay again.

Good place to stay!
We were only here for about 10 hours from arriving late-night and leaving early the next morning, but this is a place you can trust for a good stay with great service and very comfortable.

Doubletree aims to be average, and the one in Poughkeepsie succeeds. I'm sorry I didn't think to ask for a room on a high floor looking out to the river, the FDR Bridge and the hills beyond. My room on the other side looked out to the. bus station. The Expedia offer of breakfast for $5 turned out to be a great deal.
