The phone kept ringing every few minutes. Maintenence had to unplug it from the wall. The lights above the TV didnt shut off. Construction started at 830am above our room. The bar was closed and we were aware until check in.

Got away for a quick weekend. Was very happy with the central location of this property, was very quiet and the staff was very helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Went to check in and they said our king room was not clean yet but there were queen rooms free. I said no and that we would wait. They said they would text us when the room was ready. Never got a text. After going out with friends and getting dinner we checked in, got the keys, walked into a double queen room. I called the front desk and said why do we not have a king and they said “they were all out.” So paying for a king and getting two queen beds with no compensation for our trip is totally unacceptable. Nevermind the lack of communication at the front desk .

Great location

We love how Portsmouth has been revitalized, and this hotel is within walking distance of everything. I also enjoyed having almond milk as an option for breakfast, points for that!
