Just Perfect

This hotel is amazing and in a perfect location. Upon arrival we were offered a free upgrade with a side view of the river. Absolutely beautiful. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful with places to go and suggestions for the amount of time we had to explore. The accommodations were very clean and comfortable. I certainly would stay here again. Our rental car was safely parked in the garage as well.

The location of the hotel was great! It was a close enough to walk to all of the restaurants and sites but far enough away to be more quiet. The room was very nice but a little warm, even with the air conditioning. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend this hotel to others.

Five Stars!! Clean, modern, spacious bathroom & sleeping area, beds comfy which is hard to find in Portugal, balcony and roof top view amazing, friendly staff. Location close enough to walk yet quiet for sleeping. Parking garage a plus in Porto. Will come back and stay again. Highly recommend.

We had an excellent experience at the Eurostars Porto Douro. Beautiful room, friendly and diligent staff and, obviously, unbelievable view. We are highly satisfied with our time at this establishement Some little adjustments that could have make the experience perfect: we had the pleasure to be hosted in a '' apartment room'' with a full kitchen ( oven, fridge, microwave) but there was no real space to eat (no table and chairs) and no pan, no plate, no basic cooking tools. Which defeats the point of having such a functional kitchen in the first place. The hotel also has a beautiful dining room with great waiting staff, but no restaurant. It could have been convenient to eat there on certain occasions, plus we would have enjoyed the view even more. Last but not least : TV in the room is not a smart tv. I think that could be a low-cost quick win for the hotel.

The hotel is in an excellent location with excellent views of the river and the famous Louis I bridge. The rooms were large and bathroom good. The staff were very helpful. Although the street outside can be noisy at times, the rooms were soundproof. Some people with limited money may have problems walking to the city centre. There is a funicular for those wishing to avoid the steps up to the upper tier of the bridge and cathedral area.

The staff was very helpful. We did not like our first room, so they changed us to a better room. Bartender and waitstaff were very nice. Great location away from the crowds but close to get to both the historic district and across the river to the port wine makers.
