It was gross. There were stains on the sheets and bed spread and the carpet was damp and dirty- to the point that my white socks got dirty walking on it. When I called down to complain and ask to be moved to a potentially cleaner room, I was blown off. between the dirt and the noise, I left. Stayed at Aloft.

This hotel is horrible. There are homeless people hanging out front. Bags of garbage. Floors are disguising and not cleaned in the 4 days we were there. There was literally food on the floor in the stairway in the same spot every day. Never cleaned. There are holes in the wall in the room bathroom. AC is extremely noisy. The blankets had stains. There was even a sign at the counter that says if you don’t complain within 20 minutes of check in you can’t get a refund. RUN!!!

Check in was very slow with only one person ahead of me. The employee had challenges and seemed to want to help. The tv remote didn't work and the front desk never did anything to solve the problem. Breakfast was horrid. Who has waffles, pancakes and no butter or syrup? Why they even bothered with the bfast is mind boggling. Just pissed people off. Wouldve been better with a bagel and cream cheese. Property was dated and not real clean. Pretty disappointed.

The staff was professional and the facility was clean. The room we stayed in was a little beat up. (The glass stove top was cracked and unplugged so we didn't use it.) The location, on the main road between a hospital, a mall and an airport, means that there is constant traffic and mixed clientele of overnight guests and long-term residents. As someone in the former group, it fit our needs and was clean and comfortable.

What I liked was the location. It is less than 10 minutes away from Maine Mall and other places to visit. The room was okay. What I disliked were the early check-in fees. It was my first time paying an early check-in fee when rooms were available. I arrived at the hotel at 1:30 PM. They had more than five rooms ready, yet they wanted me to pay a $25 early check-in fee. I was surprised because they had five rooms available, and in just 1 hour and 30 minutes, it would have been 3 PM. It seems very cheap for a hotel of this kind. The breakfast was basic, but it was good enough to have something in my stomach.
